I really don't know how the shades compare - just that the mystery powders so far, as well as the MSFN, are too dark for me!

i think there's a slight difference, but even if they are the same there aren't nearly as many MP shade options as there are with the MSFNs.

Erin,

I dont understand where can i purchase the refills of the MP? and what is the MP? it is it light weight? i looked on the the regualr mac site and i could not find it and i also looked on the mac pro site and i could not find it is one of the limited items that you have to purchase the refills right there.

One refill of the MP comes with the purchase of the MP. And the MP is a lightweight finishing powder that gives a nice hard to describe finish.

you cannot buy additional refills. when you buy the MP, it comes with 1 compact and 2 powders

I'm not too jazzed that this collection costs so much, but I am intrigued by the mystery powder if it really is as good as everyone claims! It's just the cost that turns me off, so maybe that's why. lol.

I'm saving my gift card dinero for this monogram collection...I have about $200 bucks and i'm really interested in this mystery powder so i will invest in it to check it out...i might just buy 2 and it'd be the only thing i get. The release date for it is the 27th right? is that just online or will the stores as well be on point with this date?

They are small squares of shimmery chunky powder used for highlighting or dusting over the cheeks. They remind me of chunky versions of the Sheertone Shimmer Powders that were discontinued, but the latter were way better. I don't care for the Sheersparkle Powders and since I already have plenty of MP from last year, I'll probably be skipping this collection too.

OKAY!!!

So, I went to the local mac pro to see if I could get pre-order...NO!!!
Howeverrrr I asked to see the update book so I can have an idea of what I want to get!!!

IT IS TO DIE!! The packaging far outweighs the logo design! The shape is different than past couture collections!! (hint hint) There were no pictures of the brushes, but if their anything like the pic of the compacts & things, their going to be GAWGOUS!!!

Don't work us into a frenzy for pictures!!

I hope they let you order more than one of each brush at a time. Last year I had to place 3 orders for the brushes I wanted! And by the time I got to my 3rd order, the lip brush was sold out!
