I'm assuming that snow globe looking thing is the displayer? In which case, it looks really awesome. Not awesome enough for me to buy any of this, but one can appreciate nonetheless.

I don't think the packaging is ugly... but it's not how I thought it would look. I think I'll just get one thing from this collection, unless bigger pics/swatches sway me otherwise.

Wildly unrelated - but then, that's par for the course for me, and now that I've seen the glorious pictures of Monogram I see no reason to continue this nasty habit of actually posting things pertinent to the conversation - but I love your username. Thanks so much...Whats funny is that i didnt get anything from this collection last year but i feel like it seemed like a pretty collection. Not impressed... Why can't they release better products. Not a fan of sheersparks, or mystery powder. How about couture eyeshadow and beauty powder mac?!

Yea i wish they could be more creative at this point. But im sure i can understand how difficult it is to come up with something fresh and exciting when they are at a point of repromoting old items..i think they are better off atleast trying to come out with better packaging. But even though the packaging looked better last year who knows...its so hard to say no to something when u see it in person or online when its released...

My thoughts exactly. Why can't they expand the color-line for the mystery powders to include more people who can wear it. They're just like the studio mist foundations -- if your skin is not the exact color match, you can't wear it.
The 1st year they came out with the mystery powder, I couldn't wear either of them; they were either too light or too dark. But Dark Secret is a PERFECT match for me.

As we've seen from other posts, the mystery powders are too dark for some and too light for others.

Why they brought back the sheerspark pressed powders is beyond me. I rather liked the richmetal highlighters and was hoping they would expand those colors in the collection this year. (I rather like the ones from the Couture and Colour Forms collection.)

Yeah. The Sheersparks are basically chunkier, harder-to-work-with-and-blend Iridescent Pressed Powders. They just sorta suck in texture and application. I have Solitaire I think, and it just doesn't stick or compliment well at all.
