I have the 129 & 224 from Stylistics & they are sooooooo nice, I'm just not sure I need another 224...I wish the had done a different eye brush for this collection.

I hear you! My Nordstrom did not have the collection! What is up with that! She said that she was supposed to get it, but is unsure why?! Anyway, I need swatches people so that I can order from the website, or I might be forfeiting this collection!

(I am like the "weird brush" boy . . . I mostly use a 109 for foundation and beauty powders, a 168 for blushes and contouring, and my 266 and 272 for eye work. But I'm excited to get a little more "mainstream" with these couture brushes because they are TO DIE FOR.)

Those are my favourite brushes too! I love the 168 for blush!! It's always getting stained, but the angle is the best for me. The 272 Small Angled Shader doesn't get enough love either.

But you know what's really smart of you... you waited to get the 129 and the Monogram 129 is the nicest one of all of them.

I ended up buying a Marque lipstick and a Pressed Powder in Commemorate.

I have oily skin. TIA!!

I'm NW45 and it's a perfect match for me. It may be for you, too. But note: It does not have any blotting capabilities. I use it as a setting-finishing powder and blot w/blot papers throughout the day and touch-up w/the powder after blotting.

No, it isn't. It's nothing like Style Minx or Love Rules in intensity. It's more of a blush of the color you see on the website.

They look the same to me. Same height and diameter. And def looks like it has more product that the DGs.

One thing I like about the LGs this year is that the applicator is a brush and not a doe-foot.

And did you notice on Nordstrom's website that the clutch is $10 cheaper than on MAC's website? (Not that I want the clutch.)

I wish I could see some swatches of the sheerspark pressed powders. I cannot buy these sight-unseen like I did last year. Last year's powders were crappy. I need a review of how this year's crop is -- texture, application, etc.

Here's a hint: this year's sheersparks are equally crappy, the busted redheaded stepchild of the couture collections. Same formula, same overchunkiness, same no color payoff. Save your money and grab the brushes

PS I sent MAC a little note via their website saying how disappointed I was in their decision to reduce the pan size of the Mystery Powders . . . I had to give them a bunch of information, including my address, and my "House Number?" I have no idea what that means . . . I eventually figured that, since it only accepted 10 digits in that space, it was for my phone, but I have no clue. (I would have assumed it would have been the number in my address, but there was already a spot for my address, so I was verruh confused). Did I do the right thing or would somebody care to enlighten?

Wow I am kinda annoyed that the mystery powder is so small! I ordered it and am waiting for it in the mail. If it is puny then its going back, I don't care if it gets tossed. I don't appreciate Mac trying to downsize and play these games to make things look larger. $50 is a decent Amt to spend on a powder, especially one that's the size of a blush! Well at least the lip glosses aren't as bad as the dazzleglass size wise.

The brushes look so amazing online. I really want both the 224 and 129 brush!! I don't own any of the MAC's brushes but I've heard so much about them. I really want some now lol

Thank you!! Whew!! You saved me!!

I was so itchy to order them Wednesday, but held off 'cause I hadn't seen any reviews.....I ordered flourish LS, both brushes and dark secret mystery powder (now that I'm reading how small they are, I'm so mad.) Should receive my order next week.

I received posh life LG yesterday --- ordered it when it 1st appeared on the website. It is no better or worse than 2006 and 2007's LGs. But I really wanted it to be pigmented like style minx or love rules.

They are amazing, unbelievably soft and of high quality. Get them if you can. I have last year's brushes and am waiting on this year's brushes in the mail.

But I do hope they have different brushes next year.

They're going to send you a little gift. Maybe not, if you were overly critical though.

I like mine.

Not everyone wants colour payoff, just a little shimmer...

I can't find the mystery powder in Mediem Plus anywhere in Toronto. I am thinking of actually skipping this collection as now I have seen the depth of Hello Kitty and I want it all. LOL

"Distinguished" appears to be almost identical to C Thru and "Identity" is almost identical to Cherry Blossom. Just a lot more expensive.
