I know the bag is around $75 for Stylistics and around that for the Couture box (it is kicking around my CCO), the lipglasses/lipsticks are $20 and $22 respectively. The RMH were $21. The Sheer Mystery powders are $45. Sheerspark powders were $22. As far as the brushes, the Stylistic 129, 224, and 316 were $45, $34, and $24, versus $34, $28, and $19.
I do hope for some fun brushes this year. I would have loved to get the Couture 182, but I was not into MAC at the time. I'm more likely to get a brush if it looks fun. I do hope for a 209 or 212 SE to be included in it.

Lately, when I've heard the word "Luxe," I think of handbags where the designer has put out a style in a "premium" leather, and slapped the word Luxe in front and charged an extra $100.
I could see MAC using a leather/leather like material in some way, probably the latter due to costs and to not alienate vegans/vegetarians. Maybe have the shadows embossed like those old Chroma e/s that were embossed with a snakeskin pattern.
I would love if MAC did a collection with Bakelite, though. I love the vintage feel of it.

The couture collection (Luxe) is available exclusively at freestanding MAC stores (reg and pro) and maccosmetics.com.

The couture collection (Luxe) is different from the holiday collection/kits (Red She Said).
MAC releases the couture collections in late Nov, and holiday collections (colour collection and kits) over Oct and Nov.
The couture collection (Luxe) is available exclusively at freestanding MAC stores (reg and pro) and maccosmetics.com.

I'm scared to start into the MUFE eyeshadows, because I just know they'll grab hold of me and I will want ALL of them. I deeeefinitely prefer their foundation.

MUFE does have a true hot pink shadow that I will be getting here shortly...but as far as prices go, the Couture collection prices for many of the things are on the same price point as Lancome, Dior, etc, and I have a good amount of Lancome. I won't buy as much from it, but I will definitely buy a few pieces.
