WOW from that description, I want the mystery powder....now of course when it actually get's released I'm going to have to talk myself into spending that much on a compact..esp since it's the holiday season....

Yeah I would agree it's got more coverage than a blot powder, I wouldn't just put blot powder on my face alone but I would use a mystery powder.

Purplerinne you do get the compact plus product and then another refill of the product. So in that sense it's not really bad value for money.

you guys have got me hooked on the idea of this mystery powder.

i love the look of last years packaging, if i'd of been into mac like I am now, i'm sure i'd have bought a lot. Its right up my street!

The mystery face powder is excellent and I love that they give a refill. I still have some left from the first couture collection so depending on the package this year I might get a new one. I am dying to hear what the colors are but most likely I will skip it like last year if the colors aren't great.

This is Blot Powder.

It also comes loose, although I've never used it. (Except when I broke a pan and put it into a jar so I didn't waste $20!) It's purpose is basically to keep you looking matte and set foundation; it absorbs oils / sweat. It's great on stage. I sometimes use it as a light highlighter, as well, on cheekbones and stuff.

Oh, golly, just looked at the color story. Something tells me I'm going to need *all* the lip glasses and the brushes . . . and maybe a Mystery Powder for the compact. Sigh. Glad the shadows don't sound too exciting.

One more thing . . . I'm on a roll. Glad to see that this collection is all about GOLD, since it seems like all the pearl / pigments are gold. Hopefully we will get sassy gold packaging! (Red and gold is fine, too, since it says the clutch is "midnight red" and gold. Sounds awesome)

It's barely more than you'd pay for two blot powders.

Oh dear. I am so excited about Manish and the holiday collection that I can't think about this one right now

If I manage to get everything I want from the holiday collection (and my list is looong...) I may think about these lovely goodies here!! They won't be available at my counter, so I have to order them from the pro store or something. Too much for today.

Ok, I added a lipglass, a sheerspark pressed powder and the 224 SE to my list

Now I must find out where to get this collection!

Can anyone help? There seems to be a mistake in the descriptions.

• Commemorate – Frosted pale pink with gold pearlized pigments
• Keepsake – Frosted pale pink with gold pearlized pigments.

I want that frosted pale pink but which one is it?

Sorry if this is a repeat and I missed something. But are these going to be different from last year's Sheersparks? I hated those. I really wanted to love them and they looked so pretty in the case. But I thought the texture sucked and there was basically no color payoff just glittery. I had missed out on the previous year's so I'm really hoping this collection rocks.

I think they are the same

I like my Sheerspark Pressed Powder from last year. I wear it over a blush as a finish.

oh! so can i use it on my t-zone? I'm afraid it will clog my pores badly..

The 129 from Stylistics was incredibly soft, I love mine. I'm just disappointed there isn't a different face brush this year.
