I'm really loving my Marque l/s (which I've said before reminds me of a creamy Lustre and not a Frost) and it is my favourite lipstick until something new comes along. Which probably means it's my favourite until next month.

It happens to look great on my mom, but she felt bad taking the AMAZING compact from me, so she put the powder in another container...I think I had an extra blush container that I had depotted w/o much damage. So all is well. I was just sad about the color. <3

I think you flipped warm and cool. The W in NW is for warm (pink undertones) and the C in NC is for cool (yellow undertones). (I think, someone tell me if I am off-base, since I seem to have just assumed these were the meanings)

Anyway, the compact is FABULOUS. I love it! It reminds me of an updated antique pocketwatch. <3

I ordered the Medium Plus (middle color) MP and it makes me look like I got a really bad spray tan! It's so orangey on my skin! I feel really bad but I might have to return the entire thing. I don't want to b/c the compact is gorgeous and it's kind of a waste to have them throw it out, but it doesn't look good on me at all. I didn't pay $50 for a useless compact. I don't know what to do..well if anyone wants it, LMK!

In MAC world, NC is neutral cool and NW is neutral warm. However, with just about every other line our there, yellow skin tones are warm and pink are cool.

We didn't get it at my Nordstrom counter either. It is only available at select Nordstroms.

My guess is that it's because it's closer to the art world system, where pink would be warm.

I wish I could see some swatches of the sheerspark pressed powders. I cannot buy these sight-unseen like I did last year. Last year's powders were crappy. I need a review of how this year's crop is -- texture, application, etc.

I like the Keepsake Sheerspark Powder that I have. It is nice on fair skin and shows up on me. It is a light pink with gold glitter particles. I use it as blush.

Isn't it? My education and employment is in the art field and I still find MAC's system backwards.

So... I just think of it as yellow and pink... and not warm and cool, which is far too confusing.

I've been contemplating Marque l/s & Identity l/g since this collection came out & since I havent had a chance to see in person.... are they worth it? I mean really...? I love my l/s & l/g from Stylistics last year & think they were worth every penny. But, my wallet is questioning me spending almost $50 on a l/s + l/g set.................

Thanks! So I'm NC20 or 25. May I know if my Asian skin tone = warm colours will complement better (in terms of clothing as well)?

The charm at the end of the brush looks like it will get in the way when applying.

I bought both.....but... the two are so... un-pigmented!!! I really have to pack it on...but then, it's still so sheer! And for some reason, it turns my lips red...???? Must be my coloring! Packaging is gorgeous, though!

Guys- I know people have commented on this before, but the size of the MP is ridiculous. It's seriously hardcore RiDDDDDIculous!!!!! how the hell can we consider a face powder the size of an eyeshadow? This reminds me of the LE estee lauder compacts they bust out with every year which usually are dinky but like $60+.

DUDE! I'm really bummed abou the size-it's so not worth it to me. and Flourish looks SOOOO similar to Red No 5 to me! I wish I didn't buy flourish either. this has been a complete bust for me.

I caved today & got Identity l/g. When I first saw this collection IRL I wasn't that impressed, but one of the MAC girls had me try on the lipgloss... I didn't really care for it in the store, but once I saw it in the natural light outside of the mall, I LOVED it!

It is similar to Baby Sparks d/g (on me anyway) but without the tacky stickyness. Which I normally don't mind, but sometimes you just don't want to deal with it. I'm saving it to use it when those times occur. $22 a pop = to expensive to use each day!

I tried the mystery powder today, really don't see what the big deal is, esp. with such (I know this has been said a million times already!) a small amount! Even with the refil.

The brush is VERy soft, but is annoyingly cheap looking (kinda channeling 1970's eurotrash to me...) Anyhoo... the lipsticks have a very nice texture, but didn't appeal enough to me. And the sheersparks are definitely WAY to glittery for my tastes.

HTH someone!
