no its not. love knot is similar to palatial lustreglass in the sense that they are both duochromes. where palatial was fuschia-y with green pearl, love knot is pink with blue/purple pearl. VG VI SE is not a duochrome, and is a different shade of pink than LK.

the only collection getting released early is dazzleglass, and thats at freestanding stores only. naughty nauticals is still being released on the 1st, in the u.s. i don't think that canada is releasing it early, but i'm not sure. i would double check with them on that. it should just be dazzleglass getting released early. maybe they mixed the two up.

Hmm okay, my MUA told me earlier today, she was 100% sure when I asked about it, because we were talking about the days for the makeovers and i was checking whether it was the 24th or the 1st that the actual product was coming out and she said that they had bumped it up a week, my store does this a lot with lauches, I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case. But I will see on thursday when I call in the morning.

I'm so excited to get Mutiny! From the swatches thread it looks SO gorgeous! I can't wait to have it in my hands! It looks like a shimmery pigment version ot Aquadisiac!

And I'm really excited to check out the Dazzleglasses too. Though that's not this collection!

I think that for sure, my first round of Naughty Nauticals will be Mutiny and Bell Bottom pigments, and Submarine eyeshadow. I'm still on the fence about Shore Leave and Illegal Cargo, as well as some of the lippies, so I'll get get what I know I want! lol

HI Blind Passion, I am also in BC, but unfortunately am pretty far away from MAC!! Are you a lucky one that lives close to MAC?I am looking forward to this collection

Awee fortunatly I am close to a MAC, about 5 minutes drive haha! or a 20 minute walk (SO close). Its fantastic! But I always feel bad for people who don't live close, it's no fun having to make a huge trip. What are you going to get from the collection?

Is Meet the Fleet and Submarine dupable? I really don't want to buy them unless they are original and can't be duped.

From the swatch in the swatch thread of Submarine compared to other blues, it really does look different than ALOT of other MAC blues. I was going to pass on it, but since it is different from Freshwater and Deep Truth, I am going to get it. As for Meet the Fleet, I can't tell if it is acutally navy or dark purple. I think I am going to pass all together on this one. If all goes well, I will make my way to the mall tomorrow to do my NN preorder. I'll give you a full report when I get back. I am hoping to snag some swatches on paper so I can post a picture.

Hummm....submarine does look like freshwater to me...But I reserve judgement until I see it personally. I agree with you on Meet the Fleet, that one is definitely not on my radar. I will look forward to your swatches

The MAC Robson store is a Pro store iirc. So that may be why they are launching NN tomorrow. I think it's still set to come out next Thursday at the Bay counters and freestanding stores. It's not on the Cdn. website, which normally shows the new collections on Tuesday's before they're in stores.

You guys, I got to see the collection in the flesh today!
The MA brought me to the back to the little MAC vanity place (which I DID NOT know was back there) and I got to see everything.

Mutiny is much more vibrant and pretty in real life.
Bell Bottom Blue is darker than the pictures but it still looks good.
Meet the Fleet looks totally different then promo pics and looks more purple.
Which ever lipstick that is the pinkest looks awesome! I don't know if it was Party Mate or Ahoy, There. And I wasn't even interested in the lip products but I'm adding it to my list.
The MA also swatched Love Knot (I think it was Love Knot) on my hand and it was pretty as well, you could see the blue duochrome.
Oh, and I'm not even into reds but Port Red looks fantastic!

I wish I wouldn't have even seen it, now I just added more the my list!
