I really love the Port Red/Submarine look! and the smokey eyes used with Ahoy,there! Its the only smokey eye in the looks! I think i'm definately going to use them as my MAC Makeover on saturday!

For me they look both very similar and they are both matte. (I don't like matte e/s BTW)
Meet the Fleet seems to be a little bit darker than Naval! MTF is a midnight blue and Naval a navy blue.

That is on my wishlist too - maybe I will get 2 permanent shadows on my wishlist since I didn't get all the ones I thought I would from NN. I only got 2 from NN and budgeted for 4.

I really like just about all of the looks this time, even if I couldn't pull them off with my coloring. Ahoy There is my fave, probably because I could do that one!

I'm excited that I have a local counter now but I'm having a hard time not clicking that mouse 2 days early!!!

Was your new MAC counter at a Macys? I bug our Macys (still 30 min away though) all the time about adding a MAC counter. Some agree & some haven't a clue about what MAC even is

I would be like you...wanting to order early! I couldn't even concentrate when I was gone this morning thinking about what i was going to get when I got home....geesh I need help

I would get Shore Leave because it is a Veluxe Pearl. I would hold out on the Illegal Cargo because it looks just blah, like Shale and Neutral Pink had a kid. I think it will still be available later on. I think the lipsticks will go fast, I ordered two Partymate and Ahoy, there. and Hey sailor l/g and Shore Leave. The blues don't interest me but they are gorgeous, you can just tell.

As I said earlier in this thread it is the first time I don't buy an e/s from a collection (and I love e/s!!). But I will buy on the spur of the moment the e/s from Cool Heat with back-ups!

I'm really digging all of the looks that came with this, especially Ahoy-There! and Ensign.

As for the collection though, I'm still very on the fence as I'm just not a blue person.

Also, I wonder if anyone knows how Port Red compares to Queen's Sin?

I bought less than I originally anticipated. I only got Love Knot, Buoy-o-Buoy, and samples of Mutiny and Bell Bottom Blue

Port Red is a yellow, tomato red. Queen's Sin is more of a blue red with that awesome shimmer. I like Queen's Sin WAY better (and I am not a red l/s person at all). But if you like red, they are definately different enough to own both!

That's why I will pass Port Red. I prefer blue reds like Russian Red, Viva Glam or Ramblas Red. (I only have five lipsticks. Lipglass junkie!)

Me, too! I skipped on Queen's Sin because it just seemed like too rich of a red for me and my taste. I'm wondering if Port Red, because it's more tomato-y might be more to my liking. AFAIK, there's no swatch comparing the two...maybe someone will post a comparison? *crosses fingers*

It's pink pink.

It's a lustre, so it's sheer. I didn't see much plum to it. It is not a red pink or fuschia pink at all. The best way I can describe it is a rosey raspberry pink. It's not bright, and is perfect for those who like color, but don't want it to be so "OMG she's wearing lipstick!" I really like it, and may pick it up on Thursday.
