Anywho, I think I've been talked into getting shore leave. Somebody please talk me into or out of illegal cargo. It looks pretty cool but also blah but sometimes blah colors can work. I am C4/NC42...will it even look good on me??

I have 1n, 2n, 3n and 4n from the n collection. And I have fleshpot. Do i need buoy oh buoy or ahoy there??

And btw I love the video its cute very...james bondy? or am i just a dumb teen who doesn't know what shes talking about lol.

I didn't swatch them side by side, but now that you mentiom it, they are kind of similar I think. Honestly, I have a sample of Lovely Lily and NEVER use it. It kind of disappears on me, and isn't all that great (just my opinion of course ) Besides that, they are still popping up at CCOs from when it was released with Lingerie. If you have to choose, choose Illegal Cargo! I love Neutral Pink too, and I am excited to get this one

IMO, Buoy oh Buoy is close enough to 3N that you probably don't need it. They are not identical, but similar. Ahoy there is much more pink (though still very pale) than any from the N Collection and WAY different than Fleshpot. That one you may need

I love Neutral Pink, too...heck, I even bought a back-up. I own Lovely Lily and personally, I think Lovely Lily is a true lilac purple...not really like NP at all. LL and NP would go fantastic together, why I have not tried this combo, I'm not sure. Anyway...I've decided against Illegal Cargo because it seems to me to be similar enough to the other greyed-lilacs I have (Shale, Dovefeather...). Now watch me slink back here tail between my legs because I caved and got it anyway.

I have a NP backup too....I just LOVE the colour! I have no grey-ed lilacs so I feel I may...end up picking up Illegal Cargo and Shore leave forsure
and possibly the Lovely Lily pigment!

Audrey, now what kind of pink is ahoy there? because TBH, I don't wear 2n or 3n too much as it is. I skipped out on melrose mood (i know its WAY different than 3n, but my reasoning is on track) I skipped on MM because i dont feel like i need too many pale pinks. Is this HONESTLY that much diff.?? Sorry to be a nag

I love pale pink lippies, so I was instantly drawn to this one, but it reminded me of Her Fancy that came out with Antiquitease. (If you do a search in the swatch forum, you can see it) It is a glaze so it is really sheer. It is nothing like Melrose Mood. It was very light on my hand, and my skintone is lighter than yours so it will look different on you I am sure, and it will depend on how pigmented your lips are too. Is it unique? Not really. Is it pretty? Yes. I am not sure if you need it or not. If you like and wear pale pinks, I'd say it's worth it, but if not, you can pass I think. To give you and idea, I am wearing Her Fancy (the closest l/s I can think of to Ahoy There) in this FOTD:

i'm here! i worked all day, so im getting on here late. damn it, why can't i add attachments!? its the only way i can put up pics. naval is a little more purple-y, like purple haze is peaking thru. MTF is more of a blackened midnight blue.

QS is a ruby red with gold frost to it, while Port Red is a brighter red.

So for those of you who have seen Port Red in person, I am curious (colour-wise, I know it won't be as glittery) about how it compares to Flash-n-Dash. If I have that, do I really need to get Port Red?

Oh and j_absinthe, the model for NN is Lisa Cant. Lydia looks a LOT like her though.

Thanks for clearing the model confusion up for me a bit, erine and Kiki.

Also, my comp has no audio, so I can't tell what the music is for it. It's an interesting promo vid though, it looks like it should have a backing song by Serge Gainsbourg.

So silly question...how is it possible that people already got their NN products if it doesnt come out till Thursday? Is it possible to order from the website before a collection releases??

I have my cart ready to check out, almost. I'm limiting myself to one pigment this collection and can't decide between Mutiny or Bell Bottom Blue. I already have Azreal Blue, which is my only blue pigment. I'm NC25 with Hazel eyes and can't decide if BBB would work on me or if Mutiny is different enough from Azreal Blue to make it worth having. Halp!!!

Also, because I have no will power, I got Port Red, Party Mate, Bateaux (which I'm praying is a coppery gold) and Love knot. Someone please talk some sense into me. kthxbi.

I'm pretty sure most collections release online 2 days before they are available in stores.

How quickly do the pigments sell out from collections? I want Mutiny and LL, but I don't wanna break the bank all in one go. Do you think they will still be there in two weeks? And can you buy samples from the stores?

The pro stores also tend to release collections earlier than online or other MAC stores and counters.

The company puts them up on the site on the Tuesday before the Thursday that most collections are released. The consumer can purchase the products starting on the Tuesdays, and wait for them to be shipped to their house. Or they can go to the store two days later (on a thursday) where the products will be ready for purchase from the counters.

Pigments usually do not sell out, because to the average buyer it's like "Huh?" when it comes to the usage. Pink Pearl did sell out for Heatherette at the Nordie's I went to though...so more than likely you will find them in two weeks. I would go for Mutiny first though because it would be a lot more likely to sell out, although I can see Lovely Lily going very quickly too.

SMMY-If you are scared about Bateaux, go to your counter to get it. Don't get it now. Don't get Party Mate either. Stick with Ensign and Port Red, and get both pigments since they are so different.

Heehee...I guess some people preordered their items and were able to pick them up. The NYC pro store releases the collections a week early I believe. A lot of the times release dates are all over the place for different states/counter/stores etc. I think this might be why...

Don't say that! LoL i have no choice but to buy online and I'm gonna buy party mate and bateaux. I'm just hoping for the best though.
