i think i'm gonna order ensign and party mate online tho...mayyybe!

i was kinda bummed because the girl that did my makeup didn't do too well.. my eyes were basically a big puddle of MTF & submarine with the blue liner all around my eyes.

it was OK..nothing special.. i could have done better myself. my foundation didn't match my skin & my lips were lined crookedly. i was expecting to have sexy, awesome makeup since all the MAs looked FABULOUS! maybe it was just that one girl..

anyway, i besides that, i felt really rushed and didn't get to ask too many questions. i figured i'd ask here: what are some good eye combos with the NN stuff?

Oh btw, this was weird, but I was told that MAC policy changed? I wanted to get a sample of BBB because I wasn't sure on it and I wanted to try it.. but they said I couldn't get any because they're not allowed to give sample anymore. Is this true?

And I forgot to mention that I don't like Port Red.
It's pretty but not my kind of red.
It showed up pretty orangey on me. So I passed. I'm NC30 btw.

My MA asked me if I wanted samples of the pigments I didn't buy. I only took Lark About but I wish I hadn't. lol

Yeah, I'm not too sad that I didn't get a sample of BBB because I didn't want it, but I was.. just.. shocked. I've never heard of that policy.

did it make you look yellow and pale?
i am nc 25 and i have Mac red (love it) since it's a blue red i wanted to try a yellow red like Port Red but i am too afraid of it looking awful on me.

The only dupe I know of for Party Mate is Blueblood from Finery. But, Party Mate is still a little bit darker/redder & its gorgeous with Love Knot over it too.

I don't have Phloof - so I really, really love Shore Leave.

I didn't get any pigments, or the other 3 shadows. But yea, the color combos are great together

Meet the Fleet in the crease
Lark About as a highlight and inner eye
Blacktrack to line

Oh my, I love this combo! It just may be a weekly one for me. Mutiny looks so different on the eye. I used it dry and sheered it out and it is the most beautiful shade of pale blue green. <333

I'm seriously considering Mutiny & illegal cargo now. Mutiny would be my first ever pigment.

I am really liking Mutiny. That color familyis my very favorite. I don't think you'll regret it in the least. I haven't had a chance to play with Illegal Cargo but that is my plan for tomorrow

Oh, and once you give pigments a try, and get hooked, be sure to get Vanilla. I use it nearly everyday on both my eyes and cheeks.

I also wanted to mention that if you are planning to get any shadows from the Cool Heat collection, I think Mutiny will be gorgeous with those! After seeing Erine's swatches in the Cool Heat thread, I was even more excited that I got Mutiny

Thanks Audrey! I don't know why I haven't used the pigments. Maybe a time issue or I thought they were too messy. I want to know how you like Illegal Cargo & how you used it.

It didn't make me look yellow and pale. It looked fine on, I just didn't like how orange it was on me.
