They can be a bit messy, but I'm totally loving using pigments with a Mixing Medium...no fallout!! Otherwise you can just put a bunch of loose powder under your eyes and then when you're done brush it away. I also tend to save concealor for last, so any fallout (pigment or eyeshadow) tends to get covered up that way. I'm with Audrey, Vanilla is awesome...once you start with pigments, it will become a crazy urge that can't be satisfied. I MUST HAVE THEM ALL!!!

So i bought most of what i wanted but im rethinking whether i need to get illegal cargo and meet the fleet. are they must have colors?? how similar are meet the fleet and prankster?? i looked at the swatches but i still cant really tell.

are any of the lustreglasses warm toned. i saw that they are a bit on the cool side rather then warm so i think i may pass.

I'm going to follow yours & Audreys advice & try Vanilla Pigment. Theres a new pigment in the Colour Forms collection called Tea Time- I want that one

Oh, I also want to try Tan Pig.

Yeah, I'll be getting all the Color Forms pigments except Steel Blue (I have a sample and never use it) and Jardin Aires, which I have and is GORGEOUS!! It's another really versatile one, it's a little more sparkly than Vanilla and is a bit "chunkier" (not as smooth textured).

I will definately let you know what I think of Illegal Cargo once I use it

As far as pigments being messy, they can be, but it's nothing unbareable. If you dampen your brush with mixing medium or water or fix+, and use a base, you won't have a problem. That also intensifies the color. I use them dry often too, and just brush away any fallout with a kabuki. I know it isn't the case with everyone, but I bought water based mixing medium and couldn't use it. It burned my eyes terribly. Made me feel like my lids were on fire.

I stick with water or plain old visine if I use them wet

I haven't played with Illegal Cargo yet, but I LOVE Meet the Fleet. I don't have prankster so I can't compare, but it is a great color. It is surprisingly pretty decent to blend for a matte. I am wearing it today in the crease with Munity on the lid and it looks great. As far as the l/g, I'd say Bateaux would be the warmest of the bunch. I think that one will work equally well for all skin tones

I want all but Jardin Aires and Steel Blue too

Well, unless the red is too red, or like Ruby Red, then I will pass. I am especially looking forward to the bronzey one and the green one

Jardin Aires is a great colour! I just wore it today with Neutral Pink as a base. Jardin Aires looks also great with Paradisco or pigment Revved Up. It has an amazing golden shimmer.

How does Mutiny pigment compare to mood ring e/s?

It looks nothing like it on the website (but the pics on mac's website deceive me a lot lol), but swatches that I've seen remind me of mood ring.

Moodring is more minty green and Mutiny is a pale aqua blue green. I just swatched them, and they are pretty different.

I caved...Shimmers fotd had me sold. I walked into mac today, bought some eye makeup remover and mutiny pigment! I love it! Can't wait to pair it will Illegal Cargo and Shore Leave!

For me, Mutiny is the standout pigment in this collection--nice and light but not too light (not some light baby blue). I like how it looks blueish or blue-greenish....I LOVE THIS!

and for Elegant-one--If you get a chance, check out Jardin Aires vs. Vanilla (vanilla is perm so you can get it anytime but I FREAKING LOVE Jardin Aires--more creamy offwhite that I use for many eye looks!).

and to combat the possible spill-factor I'd put a bit from the big jar into a smaller sample jar.

So I am thinking that after reading through this thread that I am going to have to get Illegal Cargo and Port Red.

I am hoping that I will like Illegal Cargo as much as everyone else does.

Okay so I just wanna say again how amazing Shore Leave is. It blows all my highlight colours out of the water (Phloof! who?)
I paired it today with Ricepaper, Parrot and Moodring ... yikes.
I've never backed up an eyeshadow but this will be definately the first
