When I dry swatched it on my hand, I noticed that it took work to blend it out to achieve that nice even application. It troubled me because I can see how difficult this will be to use over another color without compromising the original shadow application. Hmmm…I'm afraid these may have been a hype purchase!

I think these will work famously on the lips to accent, cheekbones (if you can get it to stick ‘n’ blend), and, of course, nail polish!

Dont forget about using Piggies for the nail polish Ladies! FUN & EASY!

They are more work and a bit more expensive, but the payoff is fabulous. Reg. pigments just don't compare. These are so much more metallic and dense, that despite the extra work, I'm still very glad I bought them. It's like the kohl powers for me, they aren't a perfect product, but the color payoff and bling factor makes it worth the drawbacks. I do hope MAC releases more of these super pigments. I'd love them in a metallic scareb green, a blackened burgundy with gold glitter and of course a deep taupe with purple/green duochrome, like mothbrown on steroids. I wish they would have released these in similar colors to the Metal-X collection. I would pick them all up in heart beat.

I agree. I could only afford one (and chose Black Ore because it's just such a perfect black), but I'd have bought all of them if I could. Scatterays especially looked gorgeous, like a more intense Goldenaire. So worth any trouble applying.
Your suggestions for other Solar Bits sound awesome! I'd love a black with metallic green shimmers as well.

I looked up VAE on mua since it's sold out at my freestanding and there's only 1 and she says "PLEASE check out the WishList first. Fairly expensive product so I won't swap first. Don't want to risk it.

"
And she has 1 token.
Since when is 19 bucks fairly expensive

I cant wait for the VAE to be released over here in the UK. I'm in love with the Solar bits but more so with Pleasureseeker and Electro... I put P over E and it created the most beautiful coral colour!
lush lush lush!

What brushes are you guys using for the Solar Bits, like for different areas of the eye? The ma that's holding Black Ore for me said that for lining a slant brush like the 208 or 263 would be good. She also said when I asked her that she is having much better luck with Black Ore. She said she loves all of them but she did feel the others take a little more work and uses the brush wet with all of them.

I like Avarice or Glamour O.D. over Flash n Dash. But Pink Grapefruit probably would go better with something coraly.

Yikes....i put on Naked Space tonight & it looked kinda orange-y on me!!! I'm a little disappointed because it swatched so beautifully! Any tips for this lipgloss? Make me love it liek i love it in the tube! I'm NC20/NW20 with kinda pigmented lips! Does it go nice with anything? I have Sunsonic lipstick & my pleasureseeker is on its way!

Oohhh and on a side note, my Time & Space e/s came in yesterday & its really nice! I see some almost pinky/bronze undertone in it and i think it will blend in really well with expensive pink!

not sure if it's been posted already but I think the Lip Refinisher is going to be made perm. I saw it in my July Marie Claire but it's in a white tube instead.

hmm. can you post a pic of it? i would love it if they made it perm, along with the VAE!

edit: i remember that i saw either one of the fafi or heatherette lipsticks in a mag that was in regular packaging, so i wouldn't read too much into it.

Great, I want it, but if it becomes perm I can buy it later. Bought too many Dazzleglasses so I have passed the Lip Refinisher...

Well, I just got up and thought I could need one...

Here you go:

I know that product promos in mags don't necessarily mean they'll be perm but here's hoping. I'd rather have them make the VAE perm though. I'm half way thru my 1st jar and I only bought 1 backup.

I am pretty sure it wont be made perm... I asked one of the trainers.

The prob with mags is that by the time they publish something, stores have normally sold out. We still get ppl asking about the N Collection cos they have seen it in 'this months' X magazine

Pssst, if any one is near the Buffalo counter in the galleria mall, you should really head over there because they have the entire NSF collection!! Including all the Solar Bits and the VAE!!!
yahoo.gif
When I walked up to it, I was in complete shock! SO, of course (lol), I had to get the VAE and Black Ore!

any other brush except the 242 used damp leaves such horrid fallout that it is not worth the effort. The 242 damp does a perfect job and leaves no fallout at all.

Just make sure to work the SB into the brush using the inside of cap a few times.

Re: Neo Sci-fi, Solar Field, And Future Earth

I totally agree with Colorqueen about using the 242 with the solar bits. It works like a dream. Plus I have been using the mixing medium with them and there has been much less fall out and it creates even more of a glossy metallic eye. Gorgeous! I hope that the lip finisher will be made perm. I have been looking for a product like that for a long time and this has really lived up to everything I hoped it would be.
