I almost wonder if the brown color in that duo is similar to Time & Space. Time & Space seems pretty dupable to me, and since I have that duo, Tempting, Gold Stroke, Coco Beach, and Chocolate Brown, I don't think I really need another golden/coppery brown shadow. Besides, it would be just my luck that the shadow would turn on me and just end up looking like a ruddy mess.

I just swatched the bronzey side of the duo & it looks more ashy, taupey, cooler than the T & S swatch. I dont have the other bronzes you mentioned to be able to compare.

I thought it was. But still, I really need to keep spending down in this collection because the Cool Heat and Nordies ones are gonna kill me!

Sometimes I look in the mirror at my neutral colours like "Do you wear makeup at all?" That is why I am more excited about the blushes, bronzers and lippies from Neo Sci-Fi. I will buy two e/s because of the packaging, but here I am so much more excited about Cool Heat!!

I agree, I am MUCH more excited for cool heat. I am looking forward to Femme Fi and Evening Aura e/s, the peach blush and Pleasureseeker l/s. If I have enough cash, I want to pick up Refined Golden, but I am not so worried about that, because I can get in anytime. I'd love to have it in the orange packaging though!

I do really like Bronze e/s. It's strange, I can wear dark colors (navy, plum, dark teal) with no problem, but not dark browns. I bought Mulch first, and that was too dark for me, but Bronze is perfect. It is a golden brown with a frost finish. It is great as a liner too. As far as its closeness to the mineralized duo, I am not sure. I don't have that one. Sorry I can't help...

The Dazzleglasses didn't help being thrown into the mix of collections for me. I'm gonna try to be selective. At least Nordies is a little ways away

Erine can you please do a swatch of Tempting and Mulch for me. I need to figure out which one I need. Thanks!

Re: Neo Sci-fi, Solar Field, And Future Earth

I just posted several pics of the Solar Bits - Black Ore in the swatch thread

My excitement was soon diminished by the immediate fallout not only all over my counter, but all over my face & beneath my eye after application. I guess you could consider it Dazzleglass for the eyes, but it was a bit too much sparkle fallout. Not chunky, heavy sparkle, but not really subtle shimmer either. Not sure if the other lighter colors will be as sparkley.

I did however, like the color which is very close to Blackground with lots of gold. It looked stunning over Blackground & Indianwood PP. It did thin with a little water on a thin liner brush & could be applied over an eyeliner, but probably would not be smooth enough on its own.

The product in the container is quite lumpy & is waaay too messy for my tastes - & I'm not a messy person. Every time I take the lid off, it falls all over the place - quite frustrating. Unless I am educated with another better form of application, I think I will not get another as it will be easier to use regular shadows. But, I may change my mind as others get them and talk about use.

I want that pink grapefruit l/g and the volcanic ash exfoliator sounds interesting. I might get that too!

Well, I am not sure whether to be relieved (for my wallet) or disappointed. I saw the swatches (THANK YOU SO MUCH!) and while I think it is lovely, I really don't want to have to deal with a messy fallout everytime I use a product. Really, the only one I want is the black one, and black fallout is worse than any other! I will still check them out, of course, but I doubt I will get any of them. I REALLY hope that people will sample them out like they do pigments. I would definately buy them that way. Please report back if you use them again, and let us know how it goes. It really is beautiful with all of the gold shimmer, but I wonder if it is worth the hassle? Thanks again for sharing!

Do the solar bits have equal amount of product compared to pigments? I know that they are in different jars but I wasn't sure how they compare. Aren't they the same dollar amount as the pigments?

The Black Ore color is very pretty on - but you do see a lot of gold sparkle. It looked really pretty over the Indianwood PP. Its not like a powder, but has tiny little balls & then large clumps. I had better luck when I lightly rubbed it onto the back of my hand first before appl. it to my eyelid.

The bottom says 3.9g/0.14 US oz I think they are 19.99
I'm not sure what the pigments are in weight

Regular pigments are 7.5g / 0.26 oz. They are both the same price. These are gonna have to be spectacular to get me to cave! (Of course, I said the same about Dazzleglass and we all know how that turned out!)
