i went to look today...when i first looked at the stuff online, i was really stoked on this stuff but it didn't really live up to my expectations.
i wasn't wearing any makeup when i went to the counter, so naturally i was offered no help whatsoever even after standing there for some twenty minutes. (sometimes those mas really irritate the
out of me!) i guess it turned out okay though, because i was about to impulse buy. so instead of waiting another half hour, i came home and ordered online. i only bought expensive pink, pink grapefruit and x-rocks.
the lip exfoliater really isn't as amazing as i hoped it would be. i like the body shop's lip scuff ALOT better. the mac one is just kind of inconvienient because of the way it's packaged (half & half makes it hard to use just one product at a time.)
i decided that since i already own c-thru and bonus beat, naked space was unnecessary because it's essentially the same as bonus beat.
supreme is a really good colour for darker skintones that want a spiced up natural look. not really my style, but i will admit it's beautiful!
i loved pink grapefruit! i hope it looks good on me. i didn't try it on, i just swatched it and that was enough for me. it has the most amazing sparklies in it.
soft and slow is nice, again it's not really my style, but the texture was so silky and lovely, kind of like that of oystergirl.
sunsonic is kind of odd because in the tube it looks like a rich coppery brown, but when it's on, it's pretty similar to tanarama, only a little more opaque.
i really liked the colour of pleasureseeker, but i'm not a fan of glazes at all. i suppose if you were to wear it over...say...spice lip pencil it might be real nice, though.
sci-fi-delity is alright. by the description i thought it would be a close match to eclips from moonbathe, which would have been amazing because i missed out on moonbathe...but it wasn't.
it's more of a plum than red. and the gold pearl is barely noticeable.
astral is another one of those nice neutrals for darker toned ladies. the red pearl is subtle, but very glam.
one of the mas was wearing electro and it looked amazing on her. i think it's better suited for nws than ncs, though...so i skipped out on that.
i was going to get spaced out until i saw it. it's exactly the same as benefit's thrrrob, which i already have. if you don't have one of the two though, i definately suggest getting it! the pearl in it is gorgeous. very nice highlighter.
and...x-rocks is love! X-ROCKS IS LOVE!
