yeah my counter has the same issues, there is always one or 2 that dont follow the theme all out and it makes the rest of us look werid

I'm wondering if it might help to have more personal theme days. Instead of saying that we're going to do a peacock theme or a pin-up theme, maybe we can have a go to glam theme, where everyone does their favorite look to wear out.
Clearly this doesn't work for new launches, but it could be done in the weekends in between. I'm just hoping something more personalized/less rigid will get the people who usually don't participate interested enough to start.

Yeah... I hear ya. I had the same issues in my counter too.
I'm also doing one idea taken from this thread... "Artist Choice" where I have on artist a month come up with the theme day including the dresscode. That makes a bit more fun for them.
I wanna do something really creative for Fabulous Felines event. Do you guys have anything planned yet?

Hey Guys, I haven't posted in Years....
i'm the new product specialist at my counter, and they haven't had one in a while, so they want me to really get things moving again.
Themes are great, but do you all have any ideas to actually MOVE products/boost sales?
What are your techniques to get products that aren't selling so well out of your stockroom and into your customer's bags?

i like to show them how to use products in a different way just cause it's an eye liner doesnt mean it cant be used as a base or a highlighter same goes for shadow mineralize skin finishes we are the expert!! so why not showcase that and show our customers how to use products in a different way it works for me and i move the old products

I'm the new Product Specialist at my store, and I really just got thrown into the role. I have been meaning to sit down with our last PS and ask her what my duties are, but she's been going through some ish. Does anyone have a moment to kind of lay it down for me?
So far I've been coming up with "theme Saturdays" and have made a couple posterboards for the back stock room. Every day we have a Product Focus, which is what limited life collection item we have alot of and need to sell through. That, and my stock section has changed to a muuuuch bigger section.
What else do I need to be doing? I want to be a really effective PS and make work more fun for the girls. A lot of them have lost their passion for the brand :/

What do you have planned for Brooke? Do you work in a store? Or partnered location? I'm in a partnered location and won't get Rocky horror. Which I'll probably end up buying. Ha. I was thinking of doing a contest whoever sells the most pieces gets gratis, or something equally unexciting. My team responds best to prizes.

I didn't have much time to do anything for Brooke, it was kind of preplanned to do bold brows and big hair. Honestly, I don't really know what I would have come up with anyway! I'm in a partner location, so sadly no Rocky Horror for me either. Prizes are always good, I feel that that gives the best incentive sometimes!

Gosh sorry I missed some of these! Matte lips I didn't plan anything really big aside from "trade looks" day. So if someone always has a dark lip and light eye. I partnered them up with someone who does the opposite or maybe someone who really only likes a graphic eye look. It's been helpful cause regular customers get used to seeing us in our preferred looks so it's striking when you step outside the box! Artificially wild was a fun one. I picked different elements (Forrest, desert, ocean, etc) and randomly assigned looks to each girl. Allowing a lot of creative freedoms but still incorporating the collection and maybe some colors that our guests might not get right away. The following week I paired AW with more color and basic business but still having one strong elements of AW. (Gaunt cheeks, eyes). How is everyone doing with Rihanna? Also how excited are you for heirloom mix!??? We have some lofty booking goals maaaan. It's a climb. Have a good day everyone!

Great Ideas thanks. Ive decided I am going to do a military theme saturday, so clothing will be military style, like boots etc. Using the Artificially wild collection, i am going for a worn in eye look, so the black eyeliner will be really smudged on top and lower lash line. We are doing well for Viva Glam i noticed on the weekly update email we are in top 5 x
