Re: Sculpt and Shape Discussion

So I just got my hands on the new Mac sculpting powders from the Beauty launch in Dec and...

they are AMAZING!

They are perfect for contouring, best friend color for crease, highlighter looks beautiful for underneath shadow or connected liner.

I would suggest to everyone when they come out to head to the pro store and get them all in palette form!

I wish someone could give me some leads on which of the duos is most approriate for my coloring so I have something to look forward to. I kind of just want the individuals. I wonder if anyone at the Pro # can help me out.

I am NW45-50ish and I have warm light and shadowy, which you will have to call a pro store to get. I saw definitive and it will probably be the same color as you skin, shadowy is much darker and not as red.

Can anyone please confirm if the #138 brush is (or can be) used for highlighting?

Thanks!

I'm sure it could be, but looking at the shape of the flower tip (fibres) and the size of it, I would say that other brushes would be easier to navigate. I.e. 187, 188 or 109, perhaps.

I'm an NC42-43. I am so interested in these Sculpt and Shape Duos.

Can anyone recommend what shades would work for my skin color?? Thanks.

I'm dying to play with these. I am learning to contour but I haven't found the perfect blush yet.
My chubby cheecks will thank Mac if it works. *Fingers crossed*

Re: Sculpt and Shape Discussion

Are these LE or perm?

The first one looks awesome! I was getting sick of using my Perfect 10 powder from Benefit, it's awfully summery b/c of the bronze.

Re: Sculpt and Shape Discussion

Does anyone know how much the Sculpt & Shape duos will cost?? Also, how much are the refill pans available at the pro store?? I'm debating if I should buy the LE ones in this upcoming collection or just get the separate refill pans and add them to my palette.

Re: Sculpt and Shape Discussion

thank you!

i'm not sure why they are holding back the release here - maybe they're going to release them at the same time as the LE collection.

The sculpt and shape duos are actually the same size as Mineralized Skinfinishes.. which are a lot larger than the blushes.

Re: Sculpt and Shape Discussion

so i asked my manager today about the launch date, and she said thurs the 20th, not wed the 19th. so i don't know which day it is for sure, just that it is releasing a week early. i'm sorry to let you down if you have to wait another day

, but its better than waiting til the 26th, right?!

Re: Sculpt and Shape Discussion

I stopped into my local mac counter today and the girls allowed me to take a peek of the new products coming out soon. I was told that the new collections are coming out on this Thursday. So, I'll be in first thing on Thursday to get a few items for sure. HTH.
