Honestly I was not looking forward to braving the crowds on the original Boxing Day release date :S Large #s of shoppers looking for after Christmas sales like bloodthirsty hounds does not excite me---I normally hide at home! lol so its nice its this Thursday!!

I just called two Mac stores, one Macy's, and one Nordstrom and they are saying that according to their marketing calendars, Sculpt and Shape is still scheduled for 12/26 release. I was hoping to get it early too.

I believe that the sculpt and shapes are going to cost $21.00 or around there.

Are these going to be released online? I've heard both a 20th and a 26th release date, and if it is supposed to be today (the 20th), they still aren't online.

Can't wait to see these. Still debating which one to get.

The 19th/20th was just for the Originals being released a week earlier than planned, but Sculpt and Shape is still next week. (Which is also why we don't see it on the MAC website)

I am such a ditz! Went to the pro store today to check out the originals again, only to see both sculpt and shape and the moisturelush up for sale. I completely forgot that a. its out everywhere next week and b. pro store= week early release.

I love this collection. When i first saw these at the original pro store release months ago, I was not interested at all. Wrote them off as boring and moved on...Putting these in a duo is brilliant though. I will admit the colors can be hard to match up properly, but i was quite please with accentuate/sculpt duo on my nw20 self.

As mentioned before, these are the size of a msf. On the sculpt side is a gorgeous warm brown matte shade to define the cheekbones while the highlight shade on my duo (accentuate) gives me a gorgeous peachy glow- much like beauty powder does and without glitter. I thought i would up with the lightest duo - bone beige and emphasize, but alas be warned- the emphasize shade is orangey brown on me and might be on you pale ladies too!

As far as the brushes go, i <3 the 138! Its tapered point reminds me of a 224 for the face- big, fluffy, and great for getting that contour on.

I completely agree as well since I was there with Ms. Dancer here

but the same accentuate duo worked on my NC30 skin tone, the shimmer didn't stand out as much but the contour was great!

Thank you so much for posting this. I was looking between the bone beige duo and the accentuate duo, but for different reasons. I want Emphasize from one, and Sculpt from the other. I was worried about Bone Beige, as well, because I am also NW20, and too many browns turn orangey on me. Now I know which one to keep my eye on when they come out online ^_^.

Yessss, that #138 brush is amazing. I love its tapered shape. And it doesn't hurt that MAC MAs get it as gratis for this collection. :]

Re: Sculpt and Shape Discussion

169 is too big for brow and nose contouring... it is intended for the face

& are they really as big as MSFs? How much does that mean they will be then? Thanks!

Oh - that's big! Thanks!
I'm hoping tomorrow someone can do some size comparison swatches if possible!
