Re: Sculpt and Shape Discussion

I love this! I'm NC35 and I got Accentuate/Sculpt. I was choosing between that and Lightsweep/Shadester. The MAC MA used accentuate/sculpt on one side of my face and the other duo on the other side. Lightsweep didn't show up on my face that much and Shadester pretty much looks like some of the other powders I have that I use as a bronzer.

I was afraid Sculpt would be really close to my skin color but surprisingly, it gave me that very subtle definition that looks natural. Accentuate is a very beautiful highlighter! This stuff is amazing!

Oh and the brush, it's awesome! I love how soft it is. One of the things I like about it is the shape. It's just perfect for the sculpt and shape powders!

Anyone know if the brush with this collection is as soft as/made with the same bristles as the 129 from Stylistics?

^^
I am NC 30 and the MAC MA suggested the same Lightsweep Shadester! Blends beautifully and is NOT chalky, gritty, heavy...it is actually quite sheer and user friendly!!

What brush to you recommend on using for these? I'm trying to learn how to contour/highlight and I'm not really sure what brush to use. I'm planning on buying one of these actually. The brush doesn't have to be a part of this collection, though. Any suggestion is fine with me.

I think Sculpt may be too dark for me, but the silky texture is to die for....sooooo much nicer than Strada, etc.

I'm a NC35 too & I chose Accentuate/Sculpt as well. I felt the Bone Beige of the Bone Beige/Emphasize duo was way too white for a yellow toned skin.
I might buy the Bone Beige/Emphasize duo for doing fairer clients makeup.

The 138 brush is gorgeous & I want this to!

I got my Accentuate/Sculpt today and the silkiness of this powder amazes me! I'm NC15; this powder is very buildable and also easy to apply sheer, imagine that! I use a small angled blush brush from FACE Stockholm to apply and I like that one better than the angled #169. Love it!

I'm NW20 and I picked Bone Beige/Emphasize.

What is the best brush to use? Is the 169 that essential?

So based on the recommendations of the the MA I got the Accentuate/Sculpt combo. I love the Accentuate but the color of Sculpt does absolutely nothing for me! Of course now that I can't find the box or reciept...

My Bone Beige/Emphasize looks very sparkly at home. The Bone Beige that is... and I really don't like too much sparkle.

Is Accentuate/Sculpt just as sparkly?

I think you mean Emphasize (the white half) is very sparkly, right? If you apply with a light hand it really doesn't look that sparkly, at least on me. That said, I have Accentuate/Sculpt too and I do think Accentuate is less sparkly than Emphasize. I kinda like both of them more than I like either Bone Beige or Sculpt.

Re: Sculpt and Shape Discussion

^^ Thank you, Winthrop44. Yes, I meant the half white side. It doesn't look sparkly during the day, but at night it does and I don't like anything that reminds me of disco. I already did it once in the '70s.

I wonder if I should get Accentuate/Sculpt as well...

Re: Sculpt and Shape Discussion

I just got Accentuate/Sculpt today in the mail and I tried it on and I am not sure but it looks a little orange in some lights. I am N4 or NW20 anyone else find that it is to orange? I am afraid that the bonebeige will be too light once I get in the sun here in a couple of months.

What other brush can I use besides the 168, mine is super rough.

Accentuate and Sculpt should fit. I am also a NW20, and the lady recommended Lightsweeper and Shadester

Waaay too orangey. Bone beige doesn't show up at all. I'm going to return it and get Accentuate and Sculpt later.

The accentuate may look too orange because you're picking up too much with your brush?
