I just got it and I'm in LOVE. Perfect highlighter for me. It's going to give me such a glow. I can't wait to wear it tomorrow

Okay thanks! And when you use it as a highlighter are you going to use only the outer part or are you going to swirl all together?

It's pretty glittery. It's a fine glitter, but it's there. And I love glittery, so...

i swatched all the products in store yesterday. and i agree that the mes are gorgeous! but most are quite glittery.. i know i wont bother with the mes so they will just end up seated in my drawer. in the end i got PA and FF mineralize blushes. these i know i will use. i love them!! wearing pressed amber today! i hve to say i like the mbs from this collection. Warmth of coral was too light and i dont like packing on blush on my face, so i skipped it.
GOR was already sold out at the counter (it was the only item sold out)! so i did not get that for now.

I'm going tomorrow to my counter! I'm excited to see everything. I think I'm gonna be getting three of the msf's. Can't wait to see those in person.

I received my package today, but I was at work when it got here, so I've only just been able to open it and swatch the eyeshadows real quick. Lemme just say, Blue Sheen is more like purple sheen on me. I don't mind at all though, it has this gorgeous multi colored shimmer when the light hits it right. I just hope it translates to the eyes. I haven't swatched Gem of Roses or Geo Pink yet cuz I hate swatching lip products. Gets sticky and messy. I'll try them on tomorrow.

Sorry your Unsurpassable and Jade's Fortune is lacking all those nice veins. Did you try scraping down a few layers with the tip of a knife in a few small spots? You could do that to check it before you return it just in case. Jade's Fortune is really more of a yellow than a grey - always said so....it's just a very greyish yellow if you have lots of veining or are applying it dry.
Before you return either of them, try them on your eyes - I think Jade's Fortune is one of the very few yellows that works on my skin tone and eye color, which is somewhat similar to yours. Same for Unsurpassable - I usually look horrible in greens, and that one looks great - but it'd be way better if you have some blue veins to control how green you want it.
Also, maybe there's a specktrette who wants a heavily yellow JF or an all-green Unsurpassable, so wait a few days and maybe someone will buy it off of you!

My bill is going to be obscene.
Besides everything I'm getting for myself, my friend wants me to pick up every single shadow for her. I'm still going to wind up spending more than she will though, because I'm going to get at least 5 of the shadows, plus the kabuki brush, 2 or 3 MSFs and pretty much all the lippies. I'm expecting a $600 total between both of us.
I'm going to bring in my tubes of Mehr and Cunning to see if I can strike Gem of Roses and Smokey Amethyst off my list. I still think Gem of Roses will have lots of similar dupes but in different formulas this fall - GlamGlass has one and it seems like Mac Me Over has one or two.
Thankfully so far I am only craving a couple of things from Mac Me Over - I'm not a big quad person and if the pigments are as similar to some of the Semi-Precious MES, I think I'd rather have MES, just for ease of use.

I tried out Mineral Mode, Jade's Fortune and Semi Precious Pearl today. I just LOVE Pearl. It gives me sort of tanned yet shimmery, highlighted, sculpted cheeks. This is why I love MSFs so much. This one is just a gorgeous colour. I used it swirled altogether, this is how I will end up using it unless I want to use just a highlighting shade but I prefer more gold highlighters so it is better for me swirled. Mineral Mode is fantastic, smooth and pigmented even dry (I used both MES dry today). I used it over Trophy Big Bounce and that made the colour more intense. I then applied Jade's Fortune as a lid colour using the green area of mine. I then took the teeny blue area and applied that through the crease. I used a Real Techniques Base Eyeshadow brush for it and I was able to pick out the colour easily with the tip, great as I didn't need a lot through the crease. I used the yellow along my lower lash line to test it out (it didn't look great as a combo but nevermind). It is quite bright, so would be even brighter used wet. It would be fun trying to mix it with the green area to get a yellowed green or with the blue area to get a bright green. I would just pick up colour from one area and then dip into another area and mix straight onto the eye - similar to how artists paint on a canvas. There is a whiter area in mine too which I can play with. You will need a range of brushes though, depending on the size of the veining in your particular MES. The MES may change as you work through it though, there may be more veining beneath the top layer so the pot will constantly change. I'd say if you were travelling light, you could take one of the swirled shades and that would be enough, you could do lid colour and crease work, possibly some highlighting if there is the right shade and be done. It looks sophisticated wet and I imagine you could go more intense wet. I haven't tried them like that yet though. I'm glad I like Jade's Fortune though, I wasn't sure about it yesterday, I don't really like the mixed green shade when swatched but it looks better on the eyes (on mine at least as mine are green/yellow/light brown with dark blue around the edges - yep they are weird) so it picks out my own natural shades.

Just got my haul. Will do a more detailed post later but just thought I would warn you....if you are into mes then you will defo walk away with more than you planned when you see them in person! Must haves in my opinion are clarity shadow and cheek brush for foundation application! Will give a more detailed update later Happy hauling everybody!!!

well done!I decided to do a look with Rare Find after I got over my anger with the Pro Store over Golden Gaze(I am waiting for it to come in the mail from another Pro Store, though just typing that made my anger flair). Anyway, lol, I really am liking Rare Find and I didn't think I would end up picking it up, but I did along with quite a few others, LOL. Anyway.
