Is Lightscapade similiar enough to Perfect Topping that I could skip it?

I actually feel bad when I get an email from MAC announcing a collection that officially went live that morning, knowing that all the rabid site stalkers like myself had mostly cleaned out the collection two nights earlier. Lol.
I think they work best over a lipstick, especially over a matte. CS has great pigmentation. I can see the lighter ones getting. To the lip lines a bit. Star Quality has nice pigmentation too. I can appreciate cremesheens for being the anti lipglass. Something different than the usually stickiness. I don't buy cremesheens often. The color has to be special, like CS is. I would say Heroine is blue based. You know, this is the 2nd lippie from MAC called Heroine.Do you like the cremesheen glasses? I've never tried one and I loved the look of Star Quality, but T said they sink into liplines. The name definitely influenced me, as I could have popcorn as a food group and be happy. I'm hoping Heroine is blue based, but I'll find out when it gets here tomorrow. My skin has been matched as NW but I think I'm more neutral than anything, so I'm usually okay with red or blue bases. I'll swatch it next to my others when it gets here.
^I agree about MAC sending e-mails late after the collections have been up online already and most things are sold out instantly. MAC does need to send e-mails early so that everyone can have a chance to snatch up some goodies.
No it's not! Perfect Topping has way more lavender tones than Lightscapade which is gold toned.
Take Perfect Topping with you to swatch and make sure that it is indeed different enough.Thank you.I'm going to see if I can pick it up Thursday and add it to my tiny MSF collection.
What orange and coral liners do you use? I'm looking to get some but I'm not sure where to start.

Here it's the 12th of may. I don't like that we have to wait so long...I was told today that we wouldnt get this collection in th UK till May
I haven't had a chance to talk about this collection and so many of you have it already, so I don't need to repeat anything.
I DO want to say that Private Screening csg is the most perfect pale peach gloss for my NC15 skin. Not too bright, not too milky, no pink cast. I thought I wasn't even going to get it and instead I bought a BU!
Also, I was really impressed with Heirloom. Usually silvery colors don't show up in my waterline at all, but not only does Heirloom show, it stays on and on and on without smudging - and i've been dealing with allergies a lot lately too. If you ever wished you could put Industrial in your waterline, now you can have a similar effect at last, I'm getting Hyacinth and Resort too - when you wear them all mixed together, you get a really beautiful color with tons of depth. Very happy to see some nice colored eye kohls again.
Cinestyle was pretty nice, but it's not as nice as the lavender plushglass that came out last year with Quite Cute - it's not as opaque and it indeed is a little patchy if you put too thick a layer on all at once. I backed up the QC one, but I don't think I'll BU Cinestyle.
Star Quality is really gorgeous - a perfect color to wear over Watch Me Simmer or on its own, since it's very opaque. It's a brighter version of one of my absolute favorites from last year, Exxhibitionist....a touch redder too. That's getting a BU. Color Saturation is really nice too, but I'm not going to back it up. By the time I'm done with it, there will be something better.
Reel Sexy is super bright - it's the exact same shade as Jazzed on me, just with an amplified finish, which brings out the brightness. If you blot it down, it looked identical to Jazzed on my lips. Heroine is gorgeous because it's matte, but I'm not going to back it up. It's just not a blue purple. It is very flattering, though and it's that really great new matte formula, so yeah - getting one, that's enough.
I'm skipping the blushes and the shadows, but I miiiiiight break down and get a polish - those are some really nice colors and could work year round really easily.
I thought that Australia was meant to be getting this collection this week as well.... but I think its either end of April or May that we are getting it too.
My heroine lipstick has been posted out so now my patient wait begins... GOD I HATE THE POSTMAN ATM!!! so damn slow
