I love how WMS looks on Karen! I'm on the fence about RS... but I'll definitely be buying Heroine and WMS.

Aww, Priarpreet, I really like Heroine from WW. It is a really unique color and I thought it was pretty universally flattering. It isn't for the timid but it looks great with bronzer and black eyeliner for the bronze goddess look. Did you try it IRL?

Exactly! I love Karen, but her makeup, especially lipsticks, are always such a subtle coat of color. That's great if she wants to wear it that way, but I want to see how the color is going to look if I apply it normally.

Aww man! I was really excited about Cinestyle. I really wanted it to show up more like a periwinkle lavender. When I receive my package I will have to see how it comes out on my lips. I am still holding out hope for MAC to make a periwinkle lavender lippie that is actually periwinkle lavender and not pink. Maybe for the Fall/Winter.

I haven't had a chance to talk about this collection and so many of you have it already, so I don't need to repeat anything.

I DO want to say that Private Screening csg is the most perfect pale peach gloss for my NC15 skin. Not too bright, not too milky, no pink cast. I thought I wasn't even going to get it and instead I bought a BU!

Also, I was really impressed with Heirloom. Usually silvery colors don't show up in my waterline at all, but not only does Heirloom show, it stays on and on and on without smudging - and i've been dealing with allergies a lot lately too. If you ever wished you could put Industrial in your waterline, now you can have a similar effect at last, I'm getting Hyacinth and Resort too - when you wear them all mixed together, you get a really beautiful color with tons of depth. Very happy to see some nice colored eye kohls again.

Cinestyle was pretty nice, but it's not as nice as the lavender plushglass that came out last year with Quite Cute - it's not as opaque and it indeed is a little patchy if you put too thick a layer on all at once. I backed up the QC one, but I don't think I'll BU Cinestyle.

Star Quality is really gorgeous - a perfect color to wear over Watch Me Simmer or on its own, since it's very opaque. It's a brighter version of one of my absolute favorites from last year, Exxhibitionist....a touch redder too. That's getting a BU. Color Saturation is really nice too, but I'm not going to back it up. By the time I'm done with it, there will be something better.

Reel Sexy is super bright - it's the exact same shade as Jazzed on me, just with an amplified finish, which brings out the brightness. If you blot it down, it looked identical to Jazzed on my lips. Heroine is gorgeous because it's matte, but I'm not going to back it up. It's just not a blue purple. It is very flattering, though and it's that really great new matte formula, so yeah - getting one, that's enough.

I'm skipping the blushes and the shadows, but I miiiiiight break down and get a polish - those are some really nice colors and could work year round really easily.

I can only tell matte formulas and really vibrant colors apart when she puts them!

I think she's gorgeous and love her writing style, but she could totally pull off more lipsticks.

Damn, I sat on Pink Popcorn too long. It's now sold out at Macys.com I almost caved and got Heroine, but looked at swatches again. Though it is pretty, I decided to go with my original thoughts and get Violetta instead. I know they arnt the same but I want to be sure before I purchase.

I am STILL waiting for a purple color like this! I know it has some kind of gloss or shimmer on top but I just love the shade of purple! I dont even know what year this collection came out lol. It's one of my fav promo pics

They actually ship in size appropriate boxes, so I would assume PP would arrive in a smaller box or padded envelope.

Can anyone confirm this? I've only ordered multiple items at a time.

I remember this promo pic but for the life of me I couldn't remember the name of the collection so after a little searching, I came up with this... the name of the collection was Chrome and Creme from 2007.

i picked up heroine and am excited about that.

what i am not excited about is how much time i spent stalking the MAC website. if MAC keeps releasing their collections this way, i predict it will turn many people off. it is ridiculous to release collections prior to the release date. i just don't think it is fair. is the release date april 5th? or is it april 2nd? or is it god knows when? do i need to consult a psychic to figure out release date? haha

i know a lot of people enjoy the hunt but i have had it with hunting. don't send me an email MAC when you know damn well that all the lipsticks are sold out. what is the point?

it's crazy enough with all the collections coming out constantly, how's about making enough so that everyone can enjoy? if your lipsticks are selling out this quickly you obviously are not making enough.

what MAC is creating is an ebay sellers dream come true. let's release the collections on a random date, when your average person thinks the date is april 5th, then we'll buy them all and jack up the price. WTH?

I would have to disagree in my experience. I order from Nordstrom often and even the smallest item always comes in a huge box. I live in Alaska though and I don't know if that has anything to do with it. It's funny though because my husband is always saying "geez what all did you order" and then I open it and show him the tiny item and he's like WTF? Good thing we recycle.
