I just throw a few depots in with my other B2M and I don't think they even know. It's still irritating though - if corporate says it's OK, then why do some MAs insist it's not? That, to me, is the most frustrating part about the program - the lack of consistency...that and the fact that those of us with counters only are severely limited in our B2M options.
But, I'm soooo excited for this collection!! Perfect timing for me to do a haul!

Why is the collection up on Bloomingdales website? I google MAC Starflash and it took me to there

I've been warned twice there that depots aren't taken but they did the two last times I brought them in. I think Scarborough Town might be a bit iffy on them too but I haven't had any issues with them (yet). |

One of the MA's at the Fairview counter said as long as all the plastic was there, as in just the metal pan missing, they had to take them. Oh well... I'll be heading to Yorkdale on Thursday so I'll let you all know! If not, I'll have to go downtown. As mentioned by Sleepyhead, the store on Queen St. W will take them.

Went to nordstrom today for the anniversary sale & picked up lotusland (the color is pretty) & while I was there the MA also did my eyes using top hat. its a nice color, good for a smoky eye look, but too dark for me.

It does sorta depend on the MA you talk to. I find if I spend some time talking to them about the collection they don't mind the depots. The guy who warned me about them was an Asian fellow, pretty cool and easy going but not a fan of depots. I've been trying to find something other than depots to mix things up too.
Good luck! I think I'll have enough for one b2m and Lotusland shall be my choice. =)

actually, i asked customer service about this, and they said no, they are NOT suppose to accepted them without metal pans for B2M

i dont remember if this was stated earlier but it probably was...lol. but are kohl powers ok for use in the waterline or no?? im trying to find a good eye kohl that wont budge.

I believe that they are ok for the water line but they seem to have mixed reviews from people. I've B2M'd twice with depotted pans at my local MAC, and both MA's who took my empty pans said they have no problem with taking depotted eyeshadow containers, and one even asked me what kind of tool I used to do it. I think it really depends on the location, and the MA.
