It is the Venetian themed Les Noirs collection now in stores etc, and Nordstrom too. Chanel has different releases for this fall:
- Jade & Jade Rose Nail Polishes
- Fleurs Celestes ( highlight powder & nail polish )
- Noirs Obscurs ( this one. )

Nothing de-lurks me like black lipgloss. Who remembers Tux-de-Luxe from the Black Tied 2001 collection? One of my all-time favorite MAC products. Finally I can stop hoarding it! Yeah, I have two tubes of 7.5 year old lipgloss. Shameful, I know.
One of the great things about Tux-de-Luxe was it worked beautifully on its own. It would give your lips a gorgeous deep raspberry color. I actually like it better alone than layered over anything.
Already setting aside some money for this collection.

So, I just went to see the No Doubt concert tonight & noticed the drummer (Adrian Young) was sporting black lipstick. MAC??
Can't wait for this collection!
So far I want:

Adrian Young has worn black lipstick ever since I saw them in concert, and that was 12 years ago. Awesome band. Would be pretty cool if he was wearing MAC, a lot of celebs seem to.

Yeah, as I was looking for more pictures of Adrian Young black lipstick has been a staple of his for quite some time. That was the 1st No Doubt concert that I've been to.
Here's another pic of Adrian
So I think I'll be skipping the black lipstick as I did an experiment with black eyeliner and it was quite frightening! I'm already pale enough as is and it made me look ghostly lol. I have to say I was a bit suprised how hard it was to get the eyeliner off my lips! I wish it had that much staying power in the eye area. Hmmm...
I think I might try the Glimmerglass in Blackfire. Gotta test it out first..
I found a pic of this chick who is definitely rocking the black lips without looking weird. Props!

I can't help with the palette but I do have info on the lipsticks. They were released earlier this year in a small collection (I believe the name was Les Noir de Chanel) and per Chanel are no longer available.

I don't think I'm brave enough to wear a a black lipstick, but I really wat to check out the lipgloss, feline kohl, the volcanic ashes and cinderfella, just love the name!
