MAC - Style Black Discussion

I wore Poise mattene yesterday, and remembered why I loved mattenes...I wish I had a few more

I must be the minority here but I HATE Mattenes. Such a huge mistake for me to get even one. I got Poise when they came out, EWWWWWWWWW!! It's uneven on my lips, and for my lips which are dry 11 months within a year, it wasn't a good idea wearing a Mattene!!

The only things I'm getting for sure is the Vulcanic Ash products, Young Punk MES and Baby Goth Girl n/l. Pink/purple and black=

i better start saving. even though i'll probably never use any of it, something tells me i'm going to buy the majority of the collection. including the two black lipsticks that i'm almost positive i will never wear...anything black just makes me weak in the knees.

I actually really love slimshines. Long Stem Rose is my go to lip color. I wish that they were bringing out a black slimshine in this collection.

Well, Erin has turned me out with those swatches. I definitely want the glimmerglasses and MES. Everything else, I actually need to test to be sure.

Black is my favorite color! Does that even count as a color? I am really looking forward to the nail polishes, but I can't find swatches anywhere. I guess I will have to be patient. Anybody have any ideas about how to wear the black glosses without looking goth? Maybe the blackfire (black with pink sparkles) over a bright fuchsia? Hmm...what do you guys think? Idk if a grey lip look would work on my NW30 skin.

I am so excited!! Went to MAC Pro-Master Class and got a lesson by makeup artist Gregory Arlt and also see and touch the next few new collections!! Style Black, Desquared, Makeup Art Cosmetics!!

Style Black Collection is amazing beautiful esp. the MES. I will post the pictures up later. My camera is dead now, still charging

What did you think of the consistency of the MES? Erine said they are like the middle stripe of the RSS MES and I am not sure I want a whole MES like this. And what about the greasesticks?

Sorry guys, I didnt have time to photograph the products swatches. As my camera battery is going flat anytime (bad move, I didnt charge it).

All the products are super nice & pretty this Fall. The MES are so very beautiful IRL, and the texture are soft and buttery imo. Its a definate must-buy!

I love the colors of the MES with the grey/silver and the pink shimmers, but they look like huge chunk of glitters.

Just too bad the black lipstick is a cremesheen.... At least something I can skip
