I foiled it, but grrr I forgot to use a base!! I'm thinking of getting Blacktrack Fluidline, because paintpots crease on me like no 2moro, and sometimes NYX Jumbo Pencils crease on me

I'm so happy, I got Young Punk on a local ebay !! I really really wanted this eyeshadow

I'm unsure of what to use as a base. Since I didn't get the greasepaintstick what do you guys suggest ?? I'm sure it's been discussed here before but this topic is way too long ... so excuse me :p Is UDPP + Blacktrack fluidline enough ?? I'm thinking of getting a cream color base, although I read it creases a lot ... I have oily eyelids !!

UDPP works great or even concealer to really bring out these shadows. Also try using them wet over a neutral base with some visine or a mixing medium. If you are looking for a black base try a soft kohl liner like MAC's smolder all over the lid. Also if you use UDPP and then a CCB it doesn't crease too much. Hope that helps a bit and enjoy young punk!

I have only used young punk once and have never even touched the rest of them. I am happy that I got them though. I guess I just haven't found the perfect places to wear these yet but I have a few holdiay parties coming up so I might have to pull them out.

i wouldn't get a cream colour base if you have oily lids... they do tend to crease. i use udpp and a paint pot mostly. or a paint! stillife paint is my fave

I guess I'm the opposite, I still love on my Style Black everyday I have off from work! In fact I wore Cinderfella today mixed with one of the holiday palette colors... I pretty much use my greasepaint sticks, my MES's, and I do use the skincare stuff too. The lippies are something I have hardly touched but once I reorganize my stash this week I'll get something going with those.

Me too, I've only used Blue Flame once, and the other MES remain untouched. I don't usually wear dark smokey eyes in the day, so I'm still waiting for the right occasion to use these babies.

I used Blue Flame over UDPP, and the color still seemed kinda subdued. I think a black base is needed to really make these MES pop.

I agree with everything. I have only swatched mine

but will never regret getting them. I too need the right day to wear them. But I was thinking I should test them out on a day at home first. And then last night I had a dream that included Specktra
lol.gif
I was putting Cinderfella on with the 239 brush and with Fix+ on to my lid but it wasn't showing up. I tried 3 layers! & then I came on this thread for help
lol.gif
I know we all have dreams about our precious MAC, but this dream made me worry it won't work out for me
ssad.gif
I'll hopefully try it out later this week with one of the GPS' and Fix+. I hope buying Fix+ wasn't a mistake. I been testing it with my Midnight Madness and I'm not sure if it's working. But I haven't even done a full eye yet.

It's always fun to read other's dreams, so thanks for sharing! Sorry it wasn't so pleasant though, but I'm sure you'll get Cinderfella work for you fine!

I love dusting a bit of the mineralized eye shadows over already complete more-matte eyeshadows. These ones turn anything dull into the perfect shimmery smoky eye!!

^^ No, actually I discover my serious addiction to cosmetics and make up, when it was illegal for my age... I was 3 and used to steal my mom's make up all the time or used toxic substances to paint on my face like my color pencils... so, if you think throughly, I've improved...now I'm legally allowed, use only safe items and don't commit crimes in order to get my fix.

I've worn GBA, but Young Punk and Blue Flame, I've only worn indoors ( I know I'm not the only person on here who does that lol )

I know I'm late to the party, but here's my very own Style Black picture!
greengrin.gif

I have on Black Knight l/s and Baby Goth Girl n/l.

Hope my friend doesn't mind me posting her picture on here, but she has on Pink Swoon blush (which she tried on at the counter and bought earlier in the day). I'm slowing converting all my friends into MAC users.
