I am so bummed I didn't make it to MAC for fashion night out...was too busy. But i hear that the Soho store still has it out and ready to go? I will take a gander on tuesday!!

They should still have it out but if not, go to Bloomingdale's a few blocks away. They were selling it during Fashion's Night Out too.

I want Night Violet mattene but here's what went down yesterday with my mom.
Mom: Every time I see you, you're in some form of purple or pink
Me: Really? I hadn't noticed.
Mom: Yeah, I meant to say something
Me: So you're saying you got a problem
Mom: no, BUT, I know you have more stuff. I'm your mother, I pay attention to things.
Me: Oh, play the mother card.
Meanwhile, husband is over to the side giggling.
So in my head, I feel like my mother is going to spank my hand if I go near it. Just Great.

How fast do you girls think the collection will sell out?
My MAC location is notorious for releasing them all a few days early -- but it falls around/on the same date as some health procedures. I doubt I'll be out running around until the 24th, which seems a little late for Style Black considering the hype.
Has anyone had any luck with getting a MAC MUA to hold things, for a couple of days?. Sounds a bit much but I will be devastated if I missed out on anything!.
I'm not even taking MAC Online into consideration -- I have a feeling they'll sell out the quickest, right?.

^^I have had my MAC store hold several things for me in the past (Lavender Whip, 226, Skin Salve) with no problems. They usually hold things for me for 3 days and if I needed more time I just call again to extend. So definitely have them put things aside for you if you're worried the items will sell out.
Does anyone know how many uses we can probably get from 1 tube of VAE? I know there's now less product but a guesstimation?

I got to take a look at these the other night at Fashions Night Out and picked up Gilt by Association, the Greasepaint stick, and the Volcanic Ash Masque. The mask didn't make much difference as yet, but it says to use 2-3 times as week, so maybe it will perk my skin up then (I'm normal to oily). The gilt by association is black and gold and very beautiful. Cindarella doesn't seem to have a strong black base, but the rest of the shadows are good. Am probably going to go back and get the rest of the shadows and some of the lipglosses when the collection launches properly.

I'm really trying to decide if I need all 3 shades of glimmer glass. i just don't want to regret not getting something, but looking at the swatches I feel there is at least one I can leave behind. I'm still torn about the greasepaint sticks. With this collection and the one that comes out the week before, my brain is scrambled and my wallet is crying.
