I haven't seen Elegant around either.
We're getting snowed in here in NYC, something like 8-12 inches, yikes.

Painterly is my HG...It is smooth and very easy to apply...I love it

I only have one paintpot and that is barestudy and I find that it is a little "slipperly" (as you call it lol) to apply. as i dont have indianwood im not sure about that one but i think that indianwood is one that has shimmer as well (maybe, im not sure
th_dunno.gif
) so maybe the shimmery ones are "slipperer" ? any thoughts anyone? lol

uh, all MSFs are shimmery. that's the whole point of a MSF, to add shimmer and highlight.

paradisco is sooo much lighter. DC is more like sushi flower.

So far i'm not too thrilled with these MSFs
ssad.gif
especially after seeing the recent swatch on temptalia. Like I said before, they look sort of pale in the pan and i'm disappointed they might end up being basic highlighters with little color.

I wish MAC could've played with these a little more. The name Sugar Sweet lends itself to so many fun variations.. Why not try for a new MSF design - instead of random swirls or degrades: a swirl of colors that spiral from the center out (similar to big rainbow lollipops). Different flavors, different colors and hues.. Imagine these as MSFs, with more wearable colors of course:

Or to go a different route, why not play with pastry or cookie designs.. maybe even neopolitan ice cream, with swirls of chocolate brown, soft strawberry pinks, and vanilla for shimmer (although I guess that would be too similar to some of Too Faced's bronzers.)

Heck, why not just partner with Strawberry Shortcake for this collection. Ok maybe that's taking it a little too far

Idk, I guess I was just expecting a little more. These definitely look pretty but it leaves me wanting something extra. Being an MSF fan i'm sure i'll end up getting these anyway

In Temptalia swatches MSf looks 10 times cuter! I may even get it, not sure cuz it looks too light.

I'll get a lipstick and some shadesticks ( they are cuuuteee )

haha I feel the same! I really don't want to be disappointed w/ my first MSF, so I keep having second thoughts. Yes, No, Yes, No {insert smiley pulling out it's hair}. I'll wait for more reviews & swatches before I make my final decision:]

So just Dear Cupcake e/s & Lollipop Loving l/s for me, please

I'm getting a lil unsure of St-Germain. It looks like it'll be much paler than Melrose Mood. I guess I'll have to try it on in person. I really really like amp cremes, it would be hard to pass on an LE one
ssad.gif

If that one is a no go, only Aquavert and maybe Dear Cupcake eyeshadows for me.

Sooo true!

I dont have a hair pulling out smiley, but these fellas describe me quite well when I think about possible MSFs:

c020.gif
k035.gif
a080.gif
d015.gif
a050.gif
c070.gif

LOL. As you can see, I'm pretty confused about them!! I really dont think I need one. I like my cheeks as they are, MSFless!

I don't own any shadesticks. I don't know which ones to get. Which ones are yall getting from the collection?

I pre-ordered butternutty and red velvet, but I think I might drop red velvet to save on the $$, since Tish says it's like crimsonaire. Well, I don't have Crimsonaire but oh well. I don't really need a pink base anyways...although I have imagined Romping over it and I kinda want it...but I think just one is good, since I don't even use the 4 shadesticks I already have!

Butternutty was described to me as Corn with more gold..IDK what that means, but I loved Corn - I actually used this one a lot. But THAT'S ALL

Urban Decay Primer Potion is my #1 choice
Shadestick : Beige-ing
Paintpot : Painterly (HG) or Soft Ochre

UDPP is the best primer potion ever!! The only Paint Pot that I own is Girl Friendly and I use it sometimes if I want to make my eyeshadows pop. Now Red Velvet is back on my list and so is Dark Cupcake and Sugarshot.
