I love Aquavert over Greenstroke pp.

I agree with you, it's peachy not orange, that's what I said!

I think it's a personal preference, these shadesticks are much creamier than the paintpots. Also there's the difference in how you apply these.

I thought it was going to be a dupe for Lightscapade, or at least a nice replacement. NOPE!

Booooo.

Yeah, I'm really bummed at how Perfect Topping turned out.

I'm not sure if I want it anymore...

I haven't tried a MAC nailpolish before. I've read that you need a lot of coats to get it to show up. Will using a base coat help?

Peppermint Patty is very pigmented, you need 2 coats though, otherwise it's streaky. I would use base and top coat as well.

I'm super excited about this collection. I went to Nordstroms a few days ago and preordered the following-

Perfect Topping MSF
Refined MSF (I'm obsessed with MSF so I had to get both
winks.gif
)
Sugarshot e/s
Lollipop Lovin l/s
Tasty l/g

After seeing all the awesome pics here I think I'm going to add the Lemon Chiffon s/s and possibly the Butternutty s/s to my order...Man, this is going to make my wallet cry!

can anyone compare:

Barbie Pearl Blossom BP vs. Refined MSF

I just realized that if I have the Barbie BP, I may not want the Refined MSF..?

I pre-ordered Seasonal Peach nail laquer, the other was too sheer for me and I have an OPI dupe for it already, Perfect Topping MSF, and I'm not an MSF girl, but I really liked it when I swatched it and, of course, Bubbles. I hate the lipglosses even more in person, they looked so cheesy and cheap to me. I have Lollipop Loving and Aquavert, Dear Cupcake just wasn't the pink I was looking for (not a big Satin finish fan either), Sugarshot is gorgeous, but Solar White is similar enough that I didn't need it...I guess overall I wasn't as impressed with this collection as I'd hoped to be.

Here's a swatch: clickable, Greenstroke:left and Cakeshop:right

FYI: You need to close the caps of the s/s really well, or they will dry out. The cap clicks once, but then it clicks again to completely close them.

Thanks for the swatches, I love my shadesticks and prefer them over paint pots any day. Never have any problems with them.
So Cakeshop it is.

Thanks for the hint. I will try my Greensmoke pp with Chartreuse (love the colour).

I like Greenstroke more in your swatches, Ernie. Thank you so much! The lemming for Cakeshop fades now.

I always use a base and top coat but I still will try to get the OPI dupe.
There is more in there and it is cheaper. Wallet likes this!

I went out last night and I used Perfect topping as a highlight and a sheen all over basically. I put it on after I put on a bit of contour. At least three people commented on how glowy my skin looked. I reccomend it big time!!!

I usually wear soft and gentle as a highlight out at night, this is not as frosty, a much more subtle glow. It's almost as if it might not even be there but it is!

I also used sugarshot as a highlight last night. It is a really great color!! Anyone that likes a nice white gold highlight will love this.

I love it.

Woah. I forgot about OPI's Get in Lime. Haha, I'm not that curious/lemming Peppermint Patty anymore then
greengrin.gif

Curiousity question. Is Juxt and Aquavert similar? Is it possible for someone to swatch one please? I have Juxt and my gf insist that they are the same. I'm hoping that Aquavert is actually more of a blue tone? TIA if someone does swatch them

I called Nordstrom today to cancel most of my pre-order. I am trying my hardest to cut my list down to the things I know that I will use. So I am getting both of the MSFs (shock!) and sugarshot eye shadow. I am going to B2M for bubbles and sweet thing.

I, like most of you, prefer paint pots over the shadesticks so I know that I won't give those the love that they deserve. I also know that I would never use peppermint patti nail polish. It is a color that I like but I wouldn't use it on my nails at all.

I am so looking forward to getting the MSFs and eye shadows!!
