I totally passed Grand Duos as I still have 5 from Sonic Chic last year, but let me look...

I wish they did the special packaging for this collection tho, they woulda made it super cute im sure...
since is the regular black pots, for most club and SnR i think im just gonna get the pro-pan...
but SnR is alot like creme de violet right? thats what the other threads say....
also i have aquavert coming from a swap, which im super excited about...and its in the lure packaging...
i really want cake shop shadestick, it would be my first one, i love the colour and the name, is that bad if i want something just cuz of the name...

No I don't think any of them are similar at all... The closest would probably be Redhead and Earth To Earth because they both give a natural glowy sheen. Even so, they are not dupes for each other because they are not really that similar.

So now that I've learned that I am NC35 and not a NW shade I feel like pinks and purples don't look good on me anymore? Purple e/s used to make my green eyes pop and now they just make me look tired--now that I'm wearing NC I think more burgandy, orange & reds look better, just curious what everyone thinks? I really want Dear Cupcake but when i tried pink the other day I just looked sick, HELP!

Yeah... It's 3 and a half hours past midnight here.

I don't have Earth To Earth yet (but it will come home with me one day soon), but the solid side is pretty similar to Nuance MB (if you have that). Redhead is just freaking amazing though, I'd say get that if you can only afford one! Plus you get a whole lot more product for a slightly higher price. It can also be used as a blush and highlighter as well, so it's pretty much an all-in-one product.

I wear NW25 and I find pinks/purples/blues look best on me. I can still wear the warmer shades too but I just don't think they suit me as much. Are you tanning if you don't mind me asking? I burnt and consequently tanned a lot back in October when I vacationed in the Dominican and became an NC37. I found then the burgundy/orange/red suited me much more...I really liked the colour change for a while

Maybe you can try Sushi Flower instead of Dear Cupcake, apparently that one is more warm toned so it should work better for NC

Thanks Winnie!! ok, I will get: blonde, redhead, grand duo, intenso. I ordered hot planet and moonriver. I think I'll skip the sugarsweet MSFs if they are sheer. I only have Tippy, F&G blushes plus both HK beauty powders. What do you think?

I think they are VERY similar, but that's fine by me since I've needed a backup of Crimsonaire anyway...so to speak.

I keep on using my Crimsonaire as a lipliner when I'm REALLY in a hurry to get out the door!!!

I got a picture that I think captures the goldish-green sheen fairly well, if anyone's interested in seeing it. I had to pose my lips in awkward ways for the light to catch it right, so beware.

Actually, I have both and I think they are VERY different. Creme de Violet is a more lavender coloring with duochrome glitter... KINDA. While Stars N' Rockets is a pinky/purple silky mess of amazing. It has a purple sheen you can see when you turn your head. I'd suggest getting them both together and seeing, because they are definately different.

Girlsssssss , this collection is soo cute! I'm not disappointed at all

This is what I think:

Eyeshadows: Overall, they were boring.
Aquavert - thee best one out of this collection. Hell, thee best green I've ever. It blends well and feels really damn soft (well duh it's a VP

) and it has so much pigmentation! Love love love.
Dear Cupcake - Man, I wanted to love this soo much cause of it's cute ass name. But no, what a let down. No colour pay off and was just overall boring. Lame.
Sugarshot - I'm sorry, but I really don't like this. The one at the counter felt really chalky and when I swatched it, it felt very crumbly.

Maybe everyone touched it with their oily fingers? I don't know, but I don't think this shadow is that special. Solar White or even Nylon is way better

Shadesticks: BEST THING EVER. Creamy sticks of love.

Cakeshop - My favourite! I thought this would look gorgeous under Smoke and Diamonds and I was right!

OMG, the grey looks great under smokey colours and it has a very pretty green duochrome like Lollipop Lovin. Oh how I love thee. B/U Worthy!
Lemon Chiffon - Wasn't that special but it's still very pretty. I wonder how it would look under Parrot?

Red Velvet - This makes Dear Cupcake not crappy! Haha. But seriously, under pinks, it just look beautiful!
Butternutty & Penny = Boring

Lipsticks:
Bubbles: Very unique

I put it on the middle of my lips and blotted and wow it looked gorgeous!

But I think it'll be a hassle to put this on top of other lipsticks and other crap.
Lollipop Lovin - You need it.
Saint Germain - I looked like I had a disease. I'm NC30 and I guess I'm too warm for this. Its really pretty but not for me.
Sweet Thing - Pretty but I wasn't amazed
Touch - wtf. It was like Freshly Brewed from Hello Kitty. RANDOM!

MSF: Disappointment.
Refined: Reminded me of Redhead but with more orange and less gold. I didn't really like it. Nothing special.
Perfect Topping: I really wanted to love it but... it didn't scream anything special. Looked pretty but ehh..

Tri Coloured Glosses: very pretty in the tubes.
The only one I liked was Just Desserts. I don't really like very pigmented and dark lipglosses so I liked these. They felt less sticky than regular l/g. I like

Nail Lacquer:
Peppermint Patti: Love! I really love cream nail polishes that are bright colours and this was it! Not as pretty as For Aubrey but then again its much greener than For Aubrey. Streaky, but whatever, the colour is nice!

Hi Dreamer, we are not similar at all. I am NW20-30 depending on the season. Perfecting topping is a whitish color, could possibly be a little cool for you but not too pink.
