So I picked up my stuff this afternoon and I got two more items than I had intended.

Ok, so I have been looking forward to this FOR LIKE EVER.

I bought:

Eye Shadows
Dear Cupcake - Beautiful Springiest coral-pink EVER.
Aquavert - Its minty and pretty
Sugar Shot - I know this isnt getting love but I LOVE it. Its a gentle off white with gold flecks. The texture of mine is very nice.

Shadesticks
Lemon Chiffon - a little too white for my taste. I dont see any yellow or gold in this when I apply. Not loving it. (***see below

Red Velvet - So gorgeous. seriously.
Cake Shop - eh....My MA pushed HARD for me to get this insisting that it would look awesome under aquaert but I'm still not feeling the love on this.
Butternutty (online) - MY FAVOURITE. It's the boring one, I know but it's like a champagne pinky gold color and SO EASY to wear.

***I actually got Lemon Chiffon instead of Butternutty by mistake and I was NOT HAPPY.

My MA made a bunch of mistakes on my purchase and by the time I realized I had the wrong shadestick I had already returned 2 other times to correct prior mistakes. Needless to say I felt like a crazy obssesive compulsive nut going back one more time so I just ordered Butternutty online and kept Lemon Chiffon. WTF am i supposed to do with this? It feels so white against my already pale NC25 skin. Boo.

Saint Germain!!! - This looks almost entirely like Melrose Mood which I have but it's so springy I figured why not. This is very cool toned but even as an NC25 I find myself pulling off nicely.
Lollipop Loving - when this came out with heatherette I did NOT like it. The green was just too overbearing with my skintone and made my complexion look odd, so I skipped it. I agree with those who say that this version is a little less green/more pink-peach. And for that reason I find it worked better this time around.


Now this is where my MA redeemed herself. She got me MSF's with the most beautiful veining that my MSF's are actually very pigmented. She also thought this task was fun as she clapped and placed all the MSF's side by side.
MSF's
Refined - I have lots of light peach and Tan veining making this super pretty and versatile.
Perfect Topping - This one had loads of lavender veining and actually shows up pink on my skin.

Is the consensus that Lollipop Loving is a bit different this time? Does everyone agree?

I don't need a 3rd Lollipop Loving if it looks like my original 2 lipsticks that I never used up.

Oh no! I'm happy there is no special packaging. We wouldn't be able to B2M for this collection and my empties have been piling up since we couldn't B2M for Hello Kitty.

This is VERY helpful, since Sweet Thing is the *only* Sugarsweet item I ordered.
While I adore Pomposity enough to have three of them, I'm a little disappointed to learn that Sweet Thing is similar, since I *do* have three of Pomposity.

I'm relieved to hear that Sugarshot is not "all that and a bag of chips," since that was on my original list, but I talked myself out of it after inventory of my collection revealed barely-used Solar White, Shore Leave and Shroom.
I may yet get Sugarshot, but for now at least I'm being virtuous.

hmmm, I was wondering the same thing, because the first LL didn't show up on my pigmented lips very well at all.

I find I'm more NW20 in the winter and seem to be NC20 in the summer (and it's not from a tan, since I don't tan.) Don't panic. You may just change with the weather, like me.

You may want to use your favourites from NW in another season.

Dear Cupcake is quite pink. I posted how it looks really similar to Soft Flower and showed comparisons in the swatch thread.

Those things were a hot ashy mess on me! I am in such a bad mood that I took the plastic thingy out of my Tasty l/g (because it keeps swiping off the color) and mixed the ENTIRE gloss together. It is pigmented NOW

Yay! So I grabbed my SS collection today. I was able to B2M four items (all three shadows and one ls)

Even though.. I still did some major damage... but I was able to cover my ass.

You know the usual... pay most in cash and some on card. hahahah

I'm intrigued by the shadesticks but arn't quite sure how to use them?

Can they be worn alone and under e/s? What's the staying power like? Do they crease much?

Shadesticks can be worn alone but I like to use them as bases. I don't use eye products without my TSSI.

I believe shadesticks are prone to creasing but it depends on how oily your lids are.
