Haha, if I could 'de-sparkle' items...I would buy a bunch of MoonRiver and 'de-sparkle' them to make them look like PT

If there was such a thing, I bet there's a lot of things we all want to de-sparkle a bit.

Doesn't count as a purchase, but it is technically a back-up!

I've never had that problem with my 188.

Really? That is great to know- I have always wondered about the 188 but someone usually contacts me and tells me that theirs gets all splayed out and I would be better off staying with the 187.

since I never get to see MAC in person, I never get to see for myself.

Exactly Tish! Lipstick can withstand alot! Just like when my lipstick breaks. I melt them in the microwave and put them in the little sample jars. When they harden they are good as new... There is a tut or thread on here regarding how to do that too...

these msfs are a texture i do not have. i have northern lights, light flush, warmed, shimpangne
drools.gif
and glissade. they are fairly chunkier than the sugarsweet and i totally skipped out on BBR except the blender brush and B-Babe (i wanted a high frost pink and i couldn't resist...)

do you guys think i need both? i use msfs almost everyday. i am NC25 btw hmm.....

I have both MSFs- I do not use foundation, I use MSFs instead (only the colored ones not the natural ones).

I bought each because they are wonderful highlighters- perfect finish for makeup.

Because I change my palette all of the time from warm to cool, I can use both of them. My Perfect Topping does not have a whole lot of lavender pink so it is a combo peach pink and is gorgeous. Refined is a lovely golden splash of peach which I love for warm finishes.

I am NW25 but I change my hair, eyecolor, skin, and outfits to crossover to any palette from autumn to spring to summer to winter.

Got my Red Velvet & Saint Germain. Both are so pretty.

I used Red Velvet up to crease then in crease and on out to corner I used Gilded Ash, lined with a smokey gray liner. Very pretty and wearable for me that way.

Saint Germain is such a pretty pink - however, I must say that I only use one very light application & smoosh my lips together

Boy is it ever smoooooth & creamy!

Snowscene & Fashion Scoop look pretty over SG

Purrtykitty - now I know why you loved this color so much

I swatched Sunsonic next to Bubbles in the swatch forum..it's not that good of a pic, I know. But basically no they are not alike. Sunsonic is way gold compared to Bubbles.

OMG that just breaks my heart!

AH! I got my goodies in the mail yesterday and was very excited. Here are my thoughts, and for the record I am Light/N3/NW15 in various MAC powders. The point is, I am a pasty Canadian.

Bubbles: Opaque white with purple/blue/pink irredescence, at least that's how it shows up on me. A little blotchy as previously mentioned, so I think I may try a base next time. I love pale, sometimes deathly lips so I'm a fan of Bubbles. I wore it today under Pleasure Principle d/g and it looked gorgeous!

Lollipop Loving: Very gorgeous, the perfect pinky/peach shade. The green duochrome wasn't as obvious as I was hoping it to be, however I am still glad I ordered two of them. I think this will become a spring/summer staple. I can't wait to try it with my Springbean l/g.

Perfect Topping: The one I received did not have a whole ton of the lavender, but it is still beautiful. I can wear it as a very sheer blush and it shows up as sort of a mauvy-peach on my face. It also looks great over Tippy blush. I don't find this too similar to Petticoat.

Refined: I think I may actually like Refined more than PF. It gives me a super pretty peachy-coral-gold glow, sort of ethereal looking. I think this is going to be gorgeous for the summer. I am looking forward to trying it over my Devil blush, I think that combo would be hot and maybe tone the orange down a bit.

dang it! red velvet creased on me! its weird, usually paintpots don't. i put bare study, then red velvet, then some dear cupcake and grand entrance.

next time i wear red velvet, ill try it on its own. but *sigh* I'm staying away from shadesticks for the time being.

Dear Cupcake over a pink base makes an effing amazing eye!!

Question for those who have Springbean. When it's applied over LL. Is the green duochrome MORE obvious? I'm trying to get that darn green duochrome to show up lolz. TIA

I just wiped off my Bubbles to try this combo. My verdict is that is does help bring out the green duochrome a -bit- more, but not a ton. It looks more gold than green overall, I think. Although I do have really crappy lighting and it is not so nice outside, but I think in the sun, or heck even a well lit area, you might notice the green more.
