well i think it was Karin who suggested putting something like peppermint oil in the gloss to hide the crayon smell. if the texture is still the same as it always used to be this could work for you. but as soon as the texture changes B2M them!

yeah i'll def b2m if the texture changes but i never use them cuz they used to be too thick/sticky for me but now i've found my love for them again. i'll have to do the peppermint oil, i have extract but i know that's not the same

So this collection and Pret a Papier launched in Sweden yesterday...just not where I live! (Gothenburg)

My counter hasn't gotten their shipment in yet...and they don't know when they will either.

I wont be able to get to the counter until like wednesday so if they launch it tomorrow the stuff I want probably will sell out by then!

It looks lovely. Out of the four l/s of this collection it's my favorite.

When I put it on alone (no liner, no gloss) is has that polychromatic thing going on where it is part rose colored, part copperish, part golden. I found that liner takes away the rose colored part so it just looks coppery-golden. Maybe I'd need a more pinkish liner to not take it away. Right now I just wear it on it's own.

I'm NW 15 for reference.

Something I don't recall seeing is.....how close in color tones is Marine Life to Nuance? I'd like to see a swatch or the products side by side if possible. When I had Ripe Peach it looked red on my face unlike of course in the pot so I wondered if Marine Life would do the same

I was tired last night that I forgot...

Beachbound had hardly any color on me at all.

Firecracker was such a beautiful pink orange in the pot, but on my skin it was more orange. Still pretty but I wanted some pink in it.
I was wondering if I should've gotten hothothot?

My MA & I both thought that the nail polish would have been awesome the same color as the eyeshadow pots.

despite all the raves for Marine Life, I'm still skipping it. I have quite a few coral toned blushes and don't need another. I'm not one to fall for hype usually. I buy based on what I personally like and what my collection might need.

So wishlist is still:

-Thrill l/s
- Fleurry or Fun l/g (depends on how it looks on my lips)
- Firecracker e/s

Yep, that was me! I tried peppermint extract, and that doesn't work. The oil holds the scent much better and works with the gloss. I'm pretty sure you could use any scented oil, I just picked peppermint since it's a stronger scent, edible, and is pleasing on the lips. I didn't want some strangely flavored gloss, lol!

I got my To the Beach haul today!

I got:
Eye Shadow: Sweet & Punchy, Sand & Sun, Firecracker
Lipglass: Flurry of Fun
Eye Kohl: Float on By
Cream Bronzer: Beach Bronze

I orginially had Funbathing on my list, but it just didn't wow me in person. Instead the cream bronzer convinced me to take it home.

I also want Thrills, but they hadn't gotten it in their delivery, so I hope it turns up soon.

Here's a quick Photobooth shot of me wearing Firecracker and Sand & Sun (to show any other pale blonds that have been hesitant), and my stuff:

I am also wearing Flurry of Fun lipglass - the teal shimmer is soo pretty - and Hipness and Beach Bronze, but the last two aren't exactly visible in this shot.

It was great going to the counter an hour before closing on a Sunday - not a single person there and two MA's to help me.

BTW, did you go to Åhlens City? I was there yesterday around lunchtime and they had both TTB and PAP up, but then I swung by NK for another matter and they had neither collections. Hopefully Thrills l/s will land at NK or PUB, because I want to check it out, too!

I don't have Marine Life yet, but after seeing the swatchs of Marine life, the two look nothing a like.

Nuance is sheerer and is a orange peach, where Marine Life is a red/pinky coral and looks very pigmented.

I wonddering the same, I am pale and afarid it might just turn red on me. It sucks, because its going to sell out fast so I might buy it first, then ask a Ma to try it on...just so if I like, I'll get it
