Ooh that would be great fun

Fortunately the friend who I am travelling with has no interest in makeup, so I only have myself to blame if I'm talked in to buying all kinds of stuff I don't really need

I was in the same situation last year in NY! The friend who travelled with me had no interest in makeup at all. And could not understand what you need a Dazzleglass for or why we had to go to three Sephoras to get MUFE e/s #92

I don't even really have to blend much either. It hasn't broken me out at all and hasn't felt greasy which I was worried about. I have been using it with the 131 brush and it gives a nice healthy glow. I am not sure that it would even show up though on darker skintones.

I also love hipness blush. I don't have the original to compare it to but it gives such a pretty peachy pink pop to my looks.

I am also in love with flurry of fun lipglass. It really is never a color that I would go towards but on it is a sparkly, peachy, and beautiful. I wore a bit of vegas volt and this over it and it was super pretty.

I am mixed about Marine Life. I like it but I am not in love with it. I need to try it a bit more before I make the final judgement.

So true so true -- I am actually going to purchase the Bronzer and skip the Marine life as I have tested that too and I much prefer the Hipness blush which I have from the last collection... lol, in fact I have two of these too.

The bronzer has not broken me out either and does apply beautifully. I agree tho that if you are a 2.5-3.00 level (MAC) skintone, it won't show up as well.

I am soooooo in love with some of the other samples -- for Wonder Woman and Villanis, that I have gotten somewhat bored

Update: Cream Bronzer (in beach bronze)

I've been playing with my goodies the whole day today and I love what I got. I just noticed a few things about the cream bronzer and thought I'd share.
1. It's pretty sheer so you can build it up to the intensity you want.
2. The formula is so smooth. When you're applying it it feels like a mattifying primer and dries like one too IMO. It feels satiny soft it's hard to describe.
3. It has shimmer in it but the shimmer isn't at all obvious. I have 2 spotlights on my vanity so when i was applying the bronzer i thought whoa where did that shimmer come from (since i didn't notice it in the store) but then i took my mirror and stood outside in the sun, i noticed just a bit of sheen but no shimmer.
4. Once applied i didn't feel it on my skin. So it's not "heavy" by any means.

Oh and on another note.. I LOVE Marine life... WITHOUT the overspray!! I was actually removing the overspray a few minutes ago because the colour underneath is just gorgeous. The overspray kind of ruins the colour for me making it too shimmery. Who would've thought this would be coming from someone who bathes in MSFs. haha

K, I don't think I missed a swatch, but has anyone compared Joyous BPB to Marine Life? My camera broke, otherwise I'd take a photo and post. My lighting is crap without my camera flash to even things out and post true colours of both, though when you build it enough, Joyous looks VERY similar on my skin.

I solved that problem (as much as I have it, I do have some friends that are into makeup) by turning my sister onto MAC.

I'm still undecided about the bronzers.
I only have Guerlain Terracotta #2 and my experience with bronzer is very limited. Since I don't want to buy something that is too similar to what I already have, I need your advise

Golden is my HG bronzer!!! SOOOO Much better than Refined Golden on me (Refined Golden made me look like an Oompa-Loompa from Willy Wonka Land

ETA: I'm confused as to why so many people on here and LJ are buying 3 and 4 of ML when they know they're gonna most likely sell it at inflated prices when they sell out. Give other people a chance to buy it, geez

I bought 1 for a dear Speckrette who will be out of town on the release date and 2 for myself, because I do think it's backup worthy. I love the gold on the embossing and I know it won't last very long. I think that the limited supply is an evil marketing strategy from MAC. So, those of you who are not able to get ML call corporate and fuss fuss fuss. Only they can change this. If you live in the US pre-order. That will ensure that you can get your hands on your ML, but hurry.
