Ugh, our MUFE line got discontinued and no other stores around me carry it, so I can't get a discount anymore! FML!
Its ok though, I wasn't a huuuge fan of the eyeshadows or blushes other than #92, but I still have lots left. Totally took advantage of the last few items left and stocked up on HD foundation, Mat Velvet & Duo Mat! Sad I can't get a discount anymore tho....roar!

I am watching Marlena MakeupGeek's review of this collection on YouTube and I'm sort of sad to see that she didn't come here and research it first. (I know she used to be an active member.) I keep going "No, that's not right" at my screen. I know, I'm crazy.
Edit: I lover her videos too. If I didn't I wouldn't care at all if she gets things wrong.

I caved and got Thrills l/s and Easy Lounger l/g yesterday.
Thrills is gorgeous however it looks a bit weird on my non-tanned NC15 skin if I apply it heavy. But sheered out (
) I love it.
With Easy Lounger I broke my lipglass no-buy but I had to get one lipglass in this special packaging.
I still can't use my Marine Life but I've found a good substitute which I actually can use: Virgin Isle ccb. But of course it is discontinued and I only can use it because I have a backup.
Thrills is gorgeous however it looks a bit weird on my non-tanned NC15 skin if I apply it heavy. But sheered out (

I am glad to hear that you like Thrills. We are almost "color sisters" and that l/s has been on my wish list sight unseen. I feel a bit more comfortable ordering it now that I know other pale girls are rocking it.
Funny you should mention Virgin Isle. I was wondering if this would be a close match to ML. Or maybe JdV from Lillyland?

I would love love love to see a lip swatch of Thrills on NC15 skin (not sheered out), since it seems I'll have to get it without seeing it in person.

I was doing the same thing, but I understand that she may just not have been following the collection releases as much as we do! Some of us can recite the collections that items came out in, others can't, and that's fine. But I was still going "No, Hipness came out with Fafi, not Hello Kitty" to my computer screen. Unfortunately I don't have JdV but Virgin Isle reminds me a lot of ML on my cheeks. Unfortunately I can't make comparison swatches because I can't use/hurt my ML.

I am a little darker than you, but my sis is NW20 and Firecracker was AMAZING on her at the preview party. It's very wearable! If you get a chance, I would def try it out. It's a great way to add a little color for summer. I love how all the shadows in this collection can intermingle to create great summer looks! |

I'm thinking of going back to mac tomorrow to get the following:
- Get away bronze blush
- Pink rebel lustre drops
- Temperature rising lipliner
- backup flurry of fun
But i need some advice:
Get-Away bronze does this look good on fair ladies? and would you say it gives you a glow or a more bronzed look?
Lustre drop : Must have or nice to have? If i mix with foundation will i notice "the glow"? haha

The MA put Sand and Sun with Firecracker on my sis and it was gorgeous! I think she used the 217 brush with a lighter hand so the color wasn't as vibrant as it looks in the pan. Very simple combo, yet gives just the right amount of color for summer

Well I just called my local Nordies were my pre-order is at to change a couple things like I have mentioned. My fave MA answered and she said they're putting the pre-orders in bags now! I asked her about Thrills sight unseen and she said it would look fab on NC30 skin. She also re-assured me that my 2 Marine Life's were in the bag & a FoF!!
I am getting excited. I know I will be backing up FoF with my B2M's. I am almost tempted to B2M for Thrills & S&S as well at my freestanding instead of buying at my Nordies. I just want to make sure I get the items I want!

i think i'm gonna be a scavenger and transfer my 'turned' lipglasses to little pots and look for any and all empties i can find. maybe i can do this afterall!
