Wow i went to bed and this post just exploded! I hope you ladies managed to get your hands on marine life. I can't believe people are just buying loads to sell on ebay

Some people have no shame. When I picked up mine i bought 4 (one for me, my sister, mom and a friend that had to work) we all wanted a backup but my store only got 9 (+ 1 for display) so we all agreed to just pickup one so others would have the chance to get their hands on it too. And then you read about people buying 5 and selling for 3x the price on ebay it just pisses me off!

I wouldn't be surprised if MAC eventually started limiting LE items to 1-2 each per person. Since you have to be in the system to buy at a store, its not like many ppl could get past it...unless they gave fake names and addresses - same with credit card orders (since all the systems are hooked up and you wouldn't even be able to store-hop looking for more elsewhere).

I wouldn't be surprised either.

But I didn't know we had to be in their system to buy at MAC. Sometimes when I go to MAC, especially MAC Pro, they do not put anything in the system, although I'm in there. And many, many, many times, my name is misspelled, they don't ask for address, nothing.

I hope they can grab their marine life soon, so they won't have to turn to ebay. I feel bad for how fast it went on the american site. I can't believe how expensive marine life is on ebay. I seen one for 70 dollars

I feel bad about it too. People who actually want the product are not being able to buy because the e-bay people are buying a lot just to sell it overpriced.

People buying marine life should have to sign a contract in order to get it, saying they won't resell it on ebay for an obscene amount of money.

Hey ladies Nordstrom on line has Mac to the beach collection and Marine Life is in stock. Just placed my order. You have to type what you are looking for in the box because the collection isn't showing on the main mac page.

I said screw it and split my order between MAC Pro & Nordstrom. NOT at all happy I didn't get the discount, but at least I should get everything I want.
