MAC - To The Beach Discussion

So I've already placed 2 orders and I'm thinking about a 3rd...

I was able to jump on Marine Life this afternoon (because I'm a freak and I've been stalking MAC's site for almost a week now waiting for it to show up). I got one for me and another for my sister in law who just found out she lost her job last night. I figure it'll be a nice pick me up, especially for someone who I've recently turned into a MAC addict...oops!

I'm really sorry some of you have missed out. Hopefully MAC will bring in a round 2 of Marine Life, or you'll be able to grab what you need somewhere else.

i looooove the pic of the green but maccosmetics.com only says its in coral.

sooo any idea if they'll have both colors later on or in stores?

Try online/stores of Macy's, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, etc.
Some places even haven't started selling them yet. Don't give up hope.

Wowza I missed so much today! I am sorry for everyone that missed out on Marine Life but hopefully you will all be able to get it in stores on Thursday.

My local Nordstrom told me they will have TTB out on Wednesday for the Half-Yearly sale.

I just can't get over how fast ML sold out!

I am debating on either the powder bronzer or MSF natural? I have a shimmery msf already but want something for a natural coverage.
I want something to wear this summer but something I can use for the colder months too. I'm NC20 so I am pretty pale most of the year. I'm going to Vegas in July so I will def be getting some color from just walking around. So I need something to give me coverage and of course I cant use my NC20 foundation then lol

Is anybody else's order still pending? Mines is & they haven't even charged my CC yet. I'm getting nervous because someone on Temptalia said MAC sent them an email saying their items are on backorder.

I am starting to worry too. Both of my orders are still pending. One has marine life the other without. So I'm thinking perhaps they will be processed tomorrow since I did order pretty late in the day. That's just my hunch anyway.

I thought they usually dont charge your credit card until they ship the item? Now everybody has me worried too! lol!

I called my MA today and had her charge me for all my items. She said they had everything there and would bag my stuff up as soon as she hung up. I feel better knowing that it's all paid for and ready to be picked up! I know it may just be the hype about marine life that got me into a panic about other things selling out as well, but I didn't want to risk it! lol.

So here is to hoping I love my items! I (personally) was kind of let down by pret a papier. =/ So I need something to perk me up! haha... =p

I'm thinking if I should buy Refined Golden bronzer. I know it's permanent but if I can choose between the regular black packaging and the pretty orange one, I prefer the second one. But I have one bronzer already, and would only use the Refined Golden when my other one finished.

4:20 EST here in Canada - nothing on the site yet.

I left and came back to 9 pages since 7pm haha! Took me awhile to read them all. Its INSAAAAANNNNNEEE that Marine Life sold out on the U.S site within a few hours! I feel like a jerk with 4 extras sitting in my make-up drawer lookin' all pretty and brand-spanking-new!

But then, like MsWestchesterNY said ...CHILLAX! Its in stores too. Just go as soon as one opens

There are 10 in my area (pro, counter and freestanding). People in the GTA are lucky....PLUS more if they have a car and can travel to the other counters outside of the GTA (like people did for Ripe Peach)!

I'll keep an eye out until ppl start waking up and logging on. I tried the "site map" thing too to no avail, along with searching for items by name...nada yet.
