I just called MAC and the woman I spoke to told me that my order was processed and should be shipped tomorrow!

I'm trying not to get too excited until I see a tracking number though

Judging by how fast ML was sold online, I think your safe bet would be to buy it. Then as you said, if you don't like it you could always swap it!

Ugh, this hype is killing me. I KNOW I don't need ML. I have Hipness already, which is bright enough on me as it is. If ML is even brighter, I will have to be very careful with it. I am worried about my self control. I am afraid if my counter have any left on Thursday, I will be tempted. Seems like EVERYONE is getting ML, if nothing else from the collection. I feel like I am the only one that won't have one. I feel silly even saying that... it's terrible how stressful this whole situation is for everyone... Makeup buying and collection should be fun! You can cut the tention in this thread with a knife!! EEK!

I hate when the LE frenzy gets this bad. This is when I impluse buy. I get all paniced that I won't have time to think about things before they sell out, so I buy right on the spot, and regret 99% of those purchases later.

Just as it starts happening, ML becomes sold out on the Canadian site! I wanted to get some for you guys, it was in stock when I started reading this thread.

I hope you all find a way of getting ML come Thursday.

sooo anyone who's planning on going to nordies tomorrow - definitely call them first. i just got off the phone with my local one (oakbrook) and they said it's not going out until thursday there. so i guess it's a local decision to launch early?

i pre-ordered marine life, scorcher, and flurry of fun there. (i'd originally called and asked my freestanding if i could pre-order, and she said no - but my appointment is on SATURDAY, so there's no way i'm going to get the stuff i want that many days later at a freestanding!) i might also pick up beachbound (have to try it on first) and sand & sun (have to try it on first) on thursday from nordies as well. i don't want to buy EVERYTHING i want there, since i did make the appointment at my freestanding, but i feel like i get treated way better at nordies, so...

we shall see. i guess i'll see what else sells out on the site before then! if anything else on my list goes, i'll probably just get it at nordies instead of waiting until saturday.

i'm sorry to everyone who's getting the cancellation notices.

it really sucks - try not to get too upset at mac, though; it isn't really their fault. it's those evilbayers.

Yeah I called my Nordies again today, and they are still saying Thursday for launch.

Ugh, just searched Ebay and there are 11 Marine Life's up for auction/buy-it-now... most of which are ridiculously over-priced. I seriously hope we can take a stand against this sort of makeup piracy by refusing to cave into the pressure (even though I know it's hard!)... let's show those makeup scalpers that we won't pay their insane prices... maybe next time they'll think twice about hoarding all the products for their own profit!!! <grrrrrrr>

If you want me to talk you OUT of it: yes, its much brighter than what you like to wear. There will be another blush down the road that you will like better. You have Hipness - it's close but not quite like ML.

If you want me to talk you INTO it: Its a beautiful summery pinky coral & the pink highlighter is so pretty. It's so darn cute in that green packaging. Now its like gold

Maybe I can retain the gold sheen by sprinkling some pigment on top when the overspray wears off... Just a thought. :X

And I am going to try Lazy Day and Politely Pink l/s on my lips. They looked nearly identical swatched on my hand. If they look that similar on, I will wait, and B2M for Politely Pink later.

I called to & was told my order was processing so it should be fine
Then I called Nordstrom & was told I can pick up my pre-sale tomorrow

Audrey, you should get ML if you can. Skip Lazy Day & put that money towards some Chanel you have tons of pink l/s already. But just look at your ML for a few days, don't swipe it! That way if you decide you don't want it you can sell or swap it...for some Chanel

I'm disappointed in the face charts. I was hoping for many color combos for the eyes. It seems that everything is about Firecracker.

Sweet and Punchy Face Chart - it mentions putting Float on By on the lid. Do they mean all over the lid like a paint pot or greasepaint stick?

Firecracker Face Chart - Temperature Rising, Thrills and Beachbound lipstick with Splashing on top. I just can't picture this combo. If anyone tries it, please post.

I can't believe there wasn't anything using shimmermoss. I wish they had used a mix of colors for the eyes on the face charts.
