re: nude rose and lazy day...
i think lazy day is a little more pink, not so nude. i have pigmented lips, and something in lazy day really tones down my natural lip color better than nude rose does.
they're definitely similar, they aren't very different at all. if you aren't crazy about nude rose, you most likely won't be crazy about lazy day either.

ok, it's NOT (yay) like Nude Rose!!! At first I was thinking Pure Rose
Nude Rose is more on the peach side of pink compared to Lazy Day.
Its like if Fun Fun (coveted pink lippie) & Nude Rose had a soft little baby
And, its not like Gaga - gaga is waay brighter, its not like Pretty Please. It really isn't like any of the other pinks. colors vary on different pigmented lips. I did these on the back of my hand.
And, Lazy Day is sooo soft & creamy buttery ...yumm

You are making me want my order soooo bad. I love pink lipstick too, and I'm really looking forward to Lazy Day! It sounds like the dreamiest thing ever!!

Monter is right. It beautifully tones down the natural lip color so all this soft beautiful sweet pink shows - its sexy

I knew I couldnt do it. That's why I stayed up too late and ordered a second one from dillards. So I just have one to sit and look pretty. The downside will be when either my mom or my best friend see it. I can feel the pressure to give them my second one now.

I got Marine Life!!!!!!
Not so easily though. I went to my MAC store right at 10 am when they're open and when I came in I saw the TTB display right away with a big empty spot in the middle. My heart shrank. It's definitely sold out and they don't even show the tester any longer (some customers can be suicidal i imagine).
I found out that they launched the collection 2 days earlier!!!!
The unclear launching date is so maddening.
I was lucky I got nice MA helping out and she made some phone calls to nearby MAC counters to see if they still have ML. It's sold out in Nordstrom but Macy's near my house still had it so she asked them to put 1 on hold for me.
I left with Hipness, Weekend creme bronzer, Sun Rush lustre drops, and Thrills. Three items more than what I planned but that's fine because the MA was nice.
I tried Beach Bronze and it's just sooo sheer it barely visible on my NC42 skin so I grabbed Weekend instead. Thrills looked soooo pretty when I put it on and later on the MA asked what lipstick I was wearing. She didn't even realize that Thrills was that pretty so she put it on her as well LOL.
Anyway, I darted to Macy's and grabbed my ML! They still had a few left!!!
I was tempted to buy more than 1 just in case but no, I don't need back-up and I don't need to stare sheepishly at it. I am gonna let other people enjoy it like I do.
I see a lot of ML on ebay! so hopefully the price won't go up ridiculously because many people sell it and nobody will buy from people who put hefty price on it.

. I just sold the lens I usually used and shipped it out today. I thought it was Firecracker she used there but she when she told me she used Sand & Sun I was surprised! I just wish I could get a decent pic!!

My skin is an Estee Lauder 01 the lightest shade they have and in MAC I'm close to an NW20 but it's too yellow for me. I was surprised how it showed up on me! I tried to get a pic of it but I can't get a good one

Congrats on getting ML... there are a LOT of very disappointed MAC addicts out there right now. LOL this is happening to me right now! I have it in my hands and I want to "spend time with it" before the seahorse goes away. I feel really stupid (and my mom thinks I'm crazy, LOL) because I really thought I would be okay with getting rid of the seahorse right away.
I just have to name him! (and then remember him through all of the lovely promotional/haul pictures floating around on the internet)

Those of you stressed about losing that lovely overspray ((((((((((((((((((((((ladies))))))))))))))))))))
The display at my local MAC store went through quite a few swipes before the overspray was gone. I personally witnessed at least 6 women running a brush in it.
ALSO... the overspray makes the deposited color 'very' shiny... like a highlighter. When it's gone, it makes a lovely sheer corally blush.
So, you might be able to use it more than once, with the benefit of the overspray.
