Same here. Every counter and store in all 5 boroughs and Westchester are sold out.

I use the 130 for my Beach Bronze and sort of buff it on in little circles. It doesn't go on heavy, it just gives me that nice bronzed look and makes my face look a little slimmer

Random thought: I think the 130 brush is so cute looking I don't wanna use it and mess it up. I even considered getting another one just so I could keep one of them clean!

Hi all!

Im a newbie to posting on Specktra..i've been reading the posts since MAC GMLOL. I

the MAC's Beach collection! I went to a local Macys on Thursday with a list of 8-ish items--not that I was buying all 8...lol. I told the MA I was interested in Lazy Day lipstick. She held the tube up to my lips and went

. My heart sank in my chest! I was all set on getting LD. She said it wasn't the right shade for my skin tone. Im not fair, but light w/ some color, in my opinion. The MA then showed me some other pinks more suited for me. She put Bombshell on my lower lip and WOW..pink and kinda bright..not a bad thing though..what I wanted for summer. But I gotta say I am missing the sea shell on the LD tube! LOL . Is this a warning sign of becoming a MAC addict? When you want a LE shade over a perm shade..even if it's close? She did apply Lazy Day to my upper lip and between the two shades there really wasn't much difference b/w the two on me..maybe it was the lighting. The MA said bombshell had something else (subtle something else) that the shade was better for me. I may get Lazy Day anyway..I liked it and thought it looked nice on me. Oh what the packaging will do to you!! I did get Easy Lounger lipgloss

..pretty over bombsell. She applied Sand &Sun eyeshadow

on my outer part of lid and upwards and Phloof on my inner lid and upwards. It's a pretty combo for summer and light. Ordered those two along with Flurry of Fun online when i got home. Im a magnet to anything teal/turquoise. I'll have to be light w/ Flurry though I think..I usually am though w/ all my glosses...don't like things gloopy.

'd shimmermoss..didn't get b/c it's perm, but who knows may pick it up anyway..

So I only got 3 items from this collection: easy lounger, s&s, and fof

I'm relieved & can leave.

I love Sand & Sun on but you have to use a brush to get color payoff. Very pretty everyday peach. Not like Tete-A-Tint

I blended a lil of the coral side of ML into crease/ outer corner/v.

Life's a Breeze is a pretty light/med pink pink & I love Splashing! But, when you put Splashing over LAB you get the most gorgeous light soft barbie pink lip. Its beautiful. I'm going to try ChaCha over LAB.

ML is very pretty on. Mine had very little overspray which is just fine with me.
Now I'm debating about Temperature Rising. These lip pencils are an awesome base for glosses.

I LOVE Life's a Breeze! I have used it with Perennial High Style and Prr and both look excellent with it. I think everyone should have it, honestly. Mac doesn't really have any pinks like this at all.

so i pre-ordered ML at nordies about a week ago, when i sensed there would be a frenzy over it. little did i know it would escalate into this! haha

after reading a few people's posts about nordstroms selling pre-sold MLs to other customers, i started to get a little nervous. so i called yesterday and the MA was like "oh that's such a shame! we'd never do that to you, darlin'!" so i asked when it might be charged to my card and she said it would most likely get rung up on friday.

well... i just didn't believe her so i called bloomies and snagged one! there were at least 3 calls for it while i was there picking it up today. and i still haven't heard anything from the nordstrom counter about picking mine up! i guess we'll see... i may end up with a back up!

Totally agree with this. MA's are not always right!

A MA tried to talk my friend fair skinned, neutral wearing friend into buying Cyber lipstick (a very very dark purple)... I could tell my friend was very hesitant. Still, at the till, the MA was still trying to get her to buy it ... like "Are you SURE?? It suited you so WELL." I was so confused because it didn't suit her at all...

i couldn't agree more!! i tried temp. rising yesterday with flurry of fun over it....

woah. it was smokin'! the gloss definitely toned down the brightness of the orange but the glitter still made it amazing.

I love it too, and I have yellow undertones. Clearly it would look great on people with pink undertones. So basically I think it works on anybody with lightish skin! If you like it get it!

I am another HUGE Lazy Day fan. Yeah, um, I need another, and another Easy Lounger too. It's the perfect combo for me. Guess my Chanel wants are gonna have to wait a little longer. I gotta get this stuff before it's gone!

Seriously though, I don't think I have ever loved a pink combo as much as I love this one, and I have ALOT of pink lippies

It looks amazing with Pink Swoon Blush... another love of mine...

Sweet and Punchy is another win, IMO. I am wearing it today with Crest the Wave on the inner lid, S& P on the outer lid, and Humid in the crease with Float on By as a liner. FoB is wearing very well for me. I have had it on about 10 hours and it still looks great. Didn't stay too long on my waterline, but nothing does. I am going to try and set it with powder to see if that helps. But I am so glad I got it.

I love everything I got. I am really impressed by this collection.

I completely agree! Lazy day is gorgeous IMO. I'm NC25 and my sister is NW25 both very pigmented lips and it just looks like a very pretty pink on both of us. You should try it on and buy it if you like it. MA's aren't always right

I have a blush similar in shape to the 187, but with a wider head, and firmer bristles, and the bristles are all natural (as opposed to duo fiber).
It's from when I used to use Bare Escentuals, called the Flawless Radiance brush. I hate their brushes, but there were a couple that I liked.
I tried the 131 and 188, but the bristles were not stiff enough. But I'm kinda weird.
I don't have the 187..

I got an email saying my hipness blush was backordered :\

but after work today I went to the closest mac counter and they had 2 marine life's left :3
I should have gotten both but I didn't want to spend a bunch of money when I already placed a almost $200 mac order a few days ago

so I got Marine Life, Hipness blush )just incase I don't end up getting one
and if i do get the one i ordered that is a-okay because its so pretty) and I got Sand & Sun which was apparently sold out when I got on to order.
