We just launched the collection yesterday and ML sold out in HOURS!!!!! I had NO idea that a highlight powder would be so sought after. I even called the other locations and thought I would buy it and forgo my discount, no luck. Hawaii is SOLD out. Serioulsy? wow. It's been sitting in our backroom now for a week or so...should have put it on hold
I will know better next time, geesh

i'll post pictures hopefully soon but i got my makeup done today! so stoked. she used sweet and punchy and i'm not sure what else hahaha. and hipness. which i hate on me usually but she made it look good!
now off to the real beach! yay!
ps i walked away w/ firecracker, sweet and punchy, weekend cream bronze(totally thought i'd want beach bronze!) temp rising, flurry of fun and of course my perty marine life! yay!

So, I called MAC about the liquidy Thrills and the hair. I'm not happy at all.
They said that they would just have to take it back and refund me, no replacements, no nothing. They need to "test" to see what kind of fluid it is. I def know it's some kind of oil.
I was literally crying on my fiance's chest and he thought I was a total weirdo. "Honey, it's just lipstick"..."NO, it's not! It's a limited edition that's sold out. I really wanted that color...waaaaaaa!!"

I assume you've checked local counters and stuff? Both counters I have gone to (in the past two days ha) had everything except ML and lots of it the one girl told me.

Glad to know that I was not the only one feeling that way, girls. I want to go back to the counter and check them again.
Today, I thought I was going to make some comparison swatches with Flurry of Fun. So, I lined up my orange-ish lipglass I have. They were Sock Hop, Perennial High Style, and Shine Manish. But looking at them side by side, compare to Flurry of Fun, they didn't look orange at all. They didn't even compare. Sorry girls, I tried.

^ When I get mine I'm going to compare it to Nice to be Nice (from HK) with a little bit of Reflects Transparent Teal glitter. Maybe someone who has those items could give it a try? It's the closest thing I can think of...

Ok so I may be taking Sand & Sun back because I don't like the color payoff at all. I even used a brush to pick it up and put it on my hand. It picks swatches with finger and brush something kind of chalky and it falls off. I will try this on my lid tomorrow to see what happens - already know this will make a good brow highlight for me, but I have so many. Now, I'm feeling kinda down because I should have gotten that coral paint pot to use under it (I forget the name). Darn.
I posted last night about the Eaton Centre store not allowing me to B2M for Splashing. I just asked in Mac Chat, and she said it's allowed, and I should talk to the manager. I will print out the transcript and show them in store. But I'm not so sure I want Splashing anymore. I'm thinking of Loud & Lovely cremesheen glass now.
