Ha, I went back to a different MAC counter today near my boyfriend's place and took back Sand & Sun and Firecracker. Was having buyers remorse. Got a backup Thrills b/c I think I'm going to need one anyway.

The first of my "To the Beach" products came today!

And since I couldn't afford two, I am preserving it before I use it in pictures lolz!

I had an MA tell me she didnt want to do the colors I wanted I went in last Christmas time. I had wanted to try a gold and green look using Gorgeous Gold. She made a face and said "are you sure about that? Dont you want to do purples? It will bring out your eyes" I had my heart set on it and she went and got the smokey palette from the Mischief set and I said I do purples alot. I really want to try the gold and green". So then she gets Goldmine and said "here this will be much better on you" Ugghh.... I didnt want Goldmine but she insisted I wouldnt look right in GG so I went ahead with what she wanted to do. I came home and it didnt look like I had a stitch of m/u! I took a pic of what she'd done, sent it to a friend and she agreed.....it was so pale! Turns out she was the manager of the store and I never would have her do my m/u again. Also I had a girl tell me to try Craving so I got it via B2M, came home and tried it and BLAHH...didnt like it one bit and swapped it with someone

So like the others said they arent always right.

Ok...what the hell. I just got my haul in...Every single one of my Thrills (all 4) are COVERED in liquid. I have no idea what it was. One of them was scratched and has some kind of fiber on it!

Since it's sold out, I have no idea as to what they can do!

^ omg EWWW. That's horrible! They should refund you and give you some money for pain and suffering, because that's seriously gross.

I think I have to get a backup of Lazy Day. I don't even want to use the one I have because I love it so much!

The thing I love about makeup is that it really is all about personal preference.

It annoys me (alot) when MA's try to change my mind about something that I like, especially when their makeup isn't all that amazing anyway (in my opinion!).

Sometimes when I get my makeup done I just wanna scream "I don't care about your opinion, just do what I've asked you to do!!".

Just because they're professional make up artists, doesn't mean they're always right!!

So did I mention that thrills was NOT in my bag last night, and I am just noticing now....???! Ugh. I was so busy with the ML situation that I didn't even notice that there was no l/s with my items. Not on my receipt either.

I called my ma earlier hoping she could just charge me for it so i can go pick it up (right away this time though, I don't need the ML situation again), but she was busy and said she would call me right back. It's been 6hrs. Nice.

I have another ma I go to over here at macys... I think I'm going to have to see him tonight. I'm done waiting for her phone calls. Plus I don't want to risk it selling out before I get it as well.

You all are right who responded to my earlier post (my first)!! When it comes down to it, it's what you like and what you feel comfortable wearing.

Mmm, Lazy Day is calling my wallet and my lips. I WILL have to pick it up. Bombshell is a frost and Lazy Day a lustre, so they are two different finishes to own!

Does anyonehave issues with purchased lipstick from MAC's website melting in-transit? I don't think I will make it back to Macy's this weekend.
