When I first heard about this collection, I was hoping that it was going to be something quite dramatic. The look she did looks very tame and everyday. I realise that all collections need to have this element, since it's the more neutral/ natural colours that sell the collection (except to freaks like me), but this being the first look I've seen for it, it seems to lack bite.

I have to say that I'm overall more excited for FF. Every time I look at this collection or at new swatches (except the n/p, which I now covet), my want list gets smaller.

What is 0-15 level and 4.5-7 level? What does that mean?

Honestly, I think this whole collection will sell out, but those are the things that I think will go first.

My current "updated as of this second and subject to change without notice" list is:

Truth & Light

After seeing Temptalia's swatches and reading her reviews, I'm really disappointed in Toxic Tale, which is way more orange than it looked at first and now, like I mentioned, looks like an exact copy of Vegas Volt, and in Briar Rose, which she describes as warmer than Azalea Blossom. What happened to getting a violet blush?

"levels" of skintone -- 0 being extremely fair and neutral..4.5-7 is darker more brown tanned skin

I'm looking at Marketing courses for uni atm. I'm not sure whether it's better to have a joint business/law degree or just specific Marketing.. choices choices!
Definitely true about the theories! But I like the concept of them, as they do make sense.. as usual though, reality wins

As for Freakonomics, I've just googled it, and it sounds rather interesting... I think I'll be hunting down a copy of that to read! Thank you

After seeing the swatches, my list shrunk and grew

I placed an order for some Orly n/ps, so I can skip the n/ps in this collection.
So I'll get BOA for sure (tho I'm a bit afraid of it, haha!), Vile Violet e/s and both MES.
That bit didn't change - but then Strange Potion and Wicked Ways crept on the list... just the way lip products ALWAYS creep on my lists!

Okay, it has taken me part of yesterday and most of today to look at swatches, watch videos, and read reviews from both Temptalia and Karen's site. Let me add, I was also working during this time. Anyway, my wishlist has not changed that much from when I first heard about this collection. But, because there is so much I want, my FF list has been cut back to the two items I wanted from the beginning and nothing more. I have to cut something somewhere and that seems like the best place to cut.

I have to say I'm giddy about this collection. The fact that they are focusing on what I love, strong eye, blush, and lip makes me even more giddy. It's a look I love and wear alot. I also like the idea of how they picked the colors, from the original pantone.

if I did not know some of the products up close and personal having tested them, smelled em, touched em and applied them on all and sundry.. I would not be impressed with Temptalia's use of the products

.. they could be much more representative of MAC's image -- edgy, strong and modern.
