Okay so I downloaded the collection preview video interview thing with disney that was on temptalias site, keep in mind my internet is VERY slow. So I left it downloading while I went to brunch, my houseguest came home as I was heading out, I said "whatever you do don't close that window I'm watching that when I get home" (yes it can take hours and hours to d/l a youtube video lol) anyways she had watched it too
I'm corrupting lol.
Anyhow, Biggest compliment ever, I have my modes eyeshadow collection all layed out on the table (courtesy of houseguest... shes a long term houseguest so I asked her to help me with that project of displaying my makeup so I can pick PROM colours for a friends daughter and do her makeup on the weekend) anyways before bed with all my makeup out I played with a bunch of makeup copying MAC's evil queen look based on what I remembered.
Biggest compliment ever I went to say goodnight and she was like "Hey you're like that one from the video.. the what was she?" lol I was like aww...
Between that and the fact that I am (maybe) doing my friends makeup tomorrow night for the graduation dinner, and definitely doing her daughters makeup saturday for PROM. I'm not going to say I am at all good at makeup but its nice that OTHER people seem to think so
Anyways it relates to VV because I was copying a look and I guess it worked, I wouldn't be brave enough to wear it out of the house as I had it it wasn't NEARLY as perfect as I would need to leave the house. was using various purples, and used my blue flame and young punk mes for... not dupes but a 'inspired by' type of look.
We're working on a major project at work and so far this week I've clocked in 13 hours of overtime... I mean I know I have to spend most of that on house repairs but... I can sneak an eye shadow or two or three into my budget somewhere can't I?
