I need your help, ladies. I am trying to cut my list down to $100, so I need to nix one of the bp. I'm trying to decided between Oh So Fair and Briar Rose. I'm about NC20 w/ medium brown/reddish hair. I don't have a color like either of them. Dilemma.

Do you have Summer Rose? If you do, you could skip Briar Rose. They aren't identical, but similar (I've the first and will skip BR).

I'm NW15 and I'll get OSF. Loved the compact

Big news, big news. I went to my local Mac to get some more stuff from FFs and several MUA's that I see on a regular basis was there. One asked if I knew about an upcoming collabo and I just finished her sentence by saying "Venomous Villians!". She asked if I wanted to come to the preview event and I said hell yes. She had to take down my name and number b/c they didn't have a sheet set up. However, she did give me an actual invitation and said she would be calling me a couple days before the event (Sept 21). I felt special. She said "I know you're here a lot, so you should be here"

. I am so there and I am requesting the next day off from work just so I can bask in my happiness. I will be bringing my camera!

I rolled by my counter to pick my FF things and when I was walking in the mall I stopped by Nordies and they had a couple of the testers!!! I saw the MES they are SOOOOO GORGEOUS!!! And their big too! I know it was mentioned before but seeing it in person really adds to the effect! I saw the BOA blush (sooo pretty!), the bronze loose powder, one of Cruella's shadows, one of Evil Queen's shadow, and then there was a lippie but I didn't get to see what it was. So excited now!

I seriously would love one of those invites one day! I know the events are crazy, but wow..to not have to wait would be cool!

LUCKY!!!! I have just been thinking about calling around to local MACs to see if they are having an event and getting on the list. Hmmm I think I will start calling tomorrow.

I went to a preview for last holiday and they were selling items too. I wonder if they will be allowing purchases here too. U are so lucky! HAVE FUN!

they're close. II is definately not as creamy, and it a bit more on the blue side. i wouldn't say its darker that VV. they're both blue-based purples, but II definately more blue, where VV is more purple.

Man, I'm getting excited now. I had forgotten how much I loved Disney as a kid. My all-time favorite character is Maleficent. She is truly the HBIC. I was a strange child and I rooted for her (don't judge me!). I am definitely getting a picture with her.

It sucks that I don't really want anything from her portion of the collection. I will get Dark Deed lipstick just so I can have something.

I'm hoping to go to my MAC store today so that I can ask if they are having the Venomous Villains preview event so that I can go so that I can get my hands on the items that I have my eyes on.

I added up all the things I want and that comes out to $142. Damn, I have to be good for a couple of weeks leading up to the event. If not, I'll have to leave something behind and get in first when this collection hits online. I don't want to have to deal with that, though so I'm going to try and control myself.

Can you just ask to go and get an invite? Or is it based on loyalty? Because I usually order online....

You can definitely ask. I've done that before. However, it does help when they are familiar with you

good luck! I think you can pull it off, cause everything else out there from other companies is pretty much going to be there after this event.

i am at $125.00, give or take after seeing a few things swatched on. i am going to try really hard to just focus on paying for items in this collection for the next month, makeup wise. niot buying anything else! i am even thinking about putting money in an envelope and giving it to my mom to hold... saving up old school style, lol.

the event is going to be awesome. MAC's events are really GOOD!
