HOD is the one I could see going either way on me. Sometimes these kinda shades look terribad and scary on me. Like..."I rubbed a brownie on my cheeks, you like it?". Other times they look naturally glowy and gorgeous with a slight hint of color. No idea which way this one will go, but I do know that now I want a brownie.

Thanks for the nice review and swatches. A lot has happened in this thread since i saw it last. I think the only things i want from this collection are the nail polishes.

so funny. Nope, it won't look like that it is a nice soft color, but then that all depends on what your skin tone does to it - which I think you'll be just fine.

i always put on blush, think it looks okay, then see pictures from that night out and i look like i have gone mental with the blush

i dont get it, my boyfriend says i look fine when we leave the house and i trust him, so why do i look like a clown in pictures?

i'm excited for BOA and Briar rose

Pictures are a funny thing. For me, I think I got it going on with my eyeshadow, I get compliments and then when I come home and take pics it's one big WTF. I blend my life away but in my pictures, every flaw is right there in your face. Maybe I should turn the flash off.

I'm sure you look fine.

Ha, it's funny you guys say that about pictures because I feel the same way and thought I was just nuts. But I look in the mirror and I'm like "okay, I like it." then if I take a picture it's sometimes more like

Usually, I just disappear in pics - look like a jellyfish

Its got to be all in the lighting. Definitely shut the flash off as that helps a lot! I do that now too with all the swatch shots too - that & natural lighting.

lol, i find it more with red/coral blushes, pink ones are okay, but coral ones, i just look awful in pics. oh well, as long as i look fine in real life!

Here is my final list (I think). It has stayed pretty consistent for quite sometime. Any thoughts or recommendations greatly appreciated. For reference I am NW15/N2 with black hair and green eyes.

maybe it is because you have had alcohol and that makes your face flush? that always happens on night out pics!

it's not actually my blush, just being hot and drinking alcohol gives me a red face!

The flash as to do with why things turn out differently then they do in real life because it's so harsh. As far as color that has to do with white balance and how the camera sees it. Some cameras such as Canon shift oranges towards the reddish tones. I have quite the troubles trying to get the orange in the flame job I have in my car to look right in the final photos

. Cloudy settings on cameras will make things warmer and so does shade. Usually "sunny" setting is good or if you can put it on the K temp put it on 5200

I had a Venemous Villains dream today!!! I had a dream that I went to the preview party in the first group and I was the only one there!!! I felt like such a loner lmao. I was swatching all the stuff and I remember I really liked Innocence Beware lipstick which swatched as pink with a creamy light blue tint. (Wishful thinking on my part I know).

Then I notice BOA blush is missing and I ask the MA if they have one. She says that they have to make one and takes me to the back room to help her. Then some weird bloody fat butcher comes by with all these gross liquidy ingredients and tells me I am going to have to mix everything in a bowl. I am thinking wow this is the nasty stuff I pay for and put on my face. He proceeds to tell me the blush is also eatable. I ask him if he likes working for MAC and he says he's never heard of MAC before and that I must be dreaming.

Then I had another dream about some weird wire slides. lol
