On the weird picture thing, I've been taning my butt off on the beach and in our backyard so right now I have a nice tan. Issue is, eventhough my tan line doesn't show IRL, in every friggin pic you can see a very obvious tan line on my chest where my bikini is. Also, since I protect my face more than my body when I sun bathe, my body is now 3 shades darker than my face. You can't notice that much IRL but it's soooo obvious in pics

. I almost wanna lose my tan so I don't deal with this issue anymore!

ooohh i have so scarlet! i guess that is my second red. i usually keep it for evenings because it's my 'sexy colour'

hee hee! i need a good liner for it though, because at the time i bought plum soft to go with it and i have no idea why!!

I want to wear Brave Red tomorrow and then see if I feel like I need Heartless, still. Even though it is gorgeous, there are many, many red lipsticks out there that are great. I'm thinking I can pass. Besides the finish for Heartless isn't my fave. We'll see.

I wore Marine Life today and it was perfection. Oddly enough, it didn't help me make a decision on BOA. I thought if I still truly love it, I can pass on BOA, but if I do truly love it, wouldn't I want another blush in the same color family? It just left me as confused as before.

My thinking is that I can just get two or three things the night of the preview and then go back that Friday after I have slept on it a couple of nights. Like I've said before, my local mall has a Mac and 2 department stores that carry Mac. Also, there are several other Mac spots close enough to me that one of them has to have whatever I decide to pick up later. That's my strategy.

PS: Why is Vile Violet creeping back into my subconscious?

This is a brilliant question and you've helped me determine that BR is a skip. I do like Azalea Blossom, but not enough for anything even remotely similar. It's not the best color on me, IMO and it doesn't go with most of the other lip and eye colors that I go to most often.

Thanks to Flaminbird for the camera advice. I just took some pics testing the different settings on my camera and it was great. Sometimes flash is my best friend and sometimes...

Makes sense to me! I say get BoaA! I had more than several opportunities to get ML and decided a day too late after i'd already made purchases from TTB that I wanted it. I am making sure I get my hands on MLs cousin this time!!

BOA seems like Marine Life's Fall cousin.

I'm just going to bring my ML and my Azalea Blossom in with me and double check against BOA and BR.

Let's face it, this collection is going to be $$$$ no matter what.

I'm going to do the same thing now that you've mentioned it. It's a great idea.

Actually, I think I'm going to come in under $100 on this. There's temptation, but I think once everything is in my hands, I can write it off. Tartan Tale, however, is another story!

Do you guys do that very often, take products in with you to compare? I have wanted to do that several times but felt funny taking things out of my bag to swatch so I've never actually went through with it

Sometimes before I go to MAC, I make a large swatch on my hand of the product I allready have at home. I am planning to do this with Joyous when I compare it to BOA. I don't like taking things out of my bag and putting them back as I feel they might think I am stealing.

Usually, I already have my mind made up when I go in to play with a collection. I leave myself open to one or two surprises, but it's usually pretty definite with me. This time, I am really indecisive. I think it's LE burnout. My brain is mush.

Plus I wound up spending a TON on FF, so if I can cut corners on VV, that would be wise.

Thankfully, TT isn't interesting to me - yet.

I didn't spend much at all on FF. Overall, I kept 1 pigment, 1 quad, 1 lipglass and 2 liners. I thought TT would entice me with one or two products, but the packaging and early pics have got me going! I really love the lip set I got last year, so I'm, buying 2 this year+a brush set at least.
