Well I am excited for tomorrow hopefully I will feel better so I can go. I am nervous to because I think I might end up liking more products than I can afford which is not much. I think I am only going to get two things and am not sure what those two will be. I am thinking of strange potion lipglass which has been on my list since I first saw it and BoA since everyone says its a must have wonder if it would even look ok on nc 42.If I got BoA it will be my first blush and I don't want to choose the wrong color . I don't know decisions decisions. If I can go does anyone want me to try and swatch specific things with my skin tone? Ill do my best to try if you do.

^ If you're thinking of picking up a couple of things this week and then grabbing more later, you might want to concentrate on the things that look like they're going to sell out quickly. That way you're more likely to get what you want. SP and BoA are two that look to fly out of stores upon release, so they seem like a good pair. Other than that... If you browse through this discussion a little, you'll see which products are getting talked up the most. I'd consider those the items at greatest risk of selling out quickly.

I know thats why strange potion is def on my list I like it and I think it will sell out so I wanna get it im just not sure what the second will be -I am not a fan of getting something just because its popular I have to like it first that's why I am undecided about BoA I know it will sell out but will I like it is the question I am having with myself guess I'll see when I go 2mar. I refuse to stress over makeup if I cant get something oh well. Thanks tho

Oh yeah...I forgot to mention that I did test out the magic cooling powder on the inside of my wrist to see if I would break out. I was perfectly fine.

Apparently, I have very sensitive skin, and the last time I tried out B&BW's cooling foam stuff, I broke out in a horrible rash all over my arms. That's why I wanted to test it off my face first. So MCP should be fine on just about anyone.

Love the beauty powders and BoaA!

I find the swatch of My Dark Magic very disappointing, I bet she used it dry on a bare skin.

If Vainglorious looks the same on my skin, I have a mmu dupe for it.

I think Heartless and Violetta look much lighter here compared to other swatches I've seen of them.

Everyone attending Preview Parties from tomorrow, have lots of fun!!! At least try to although I imagine the anxiety alone will kinda get in the way - but I hope everyone is able to purchase/pre-order what they've been lemming over in what seems like 2 decades ago lol.

i'm so excited for these products now, i want the blue and green mes, bite of an apple, and briar rose

i was umming and ahhing over whether to get heartless, or toxic tale, or both? i have plenty reds and im not sure i can pull off a coral, that CORAL

so i just decided i will get neither, and get viva glam cindi lipstick and gloss instead.

Great choice going with the Cyndi lipstick and gloss....you will friggin' love them!!! I just need to pick up the Cyndi gloss with my VV haul and i'm all set!

See, I'm torn now because on the link to Shades of U, she says Bite of an Apple reminds her of Marine Life but w/o the sparkle. I already have two ML powders. On the otherhand, even though most of the overspray is gone on my first one, I can still see some shimmer on my face. So, should I go ahead and get this matte blush? Ugh. Also, knowing it's such a hot item makes me want it.

Also, I already have Beautiful Iris, but Her Alter Image is calling me. Someone talk some sense into me!

My list: Toxic Tale, Strange Potion, Heartless, Dark Deed, Vile Violet, French Quarter GPS, Cajun Cooling Powder (or maybe Truth and Light?

Can you hit up a Mac counter and try it on? That would help you a lot. All else fails, if you get it and don't like it, I'm sure you can make another Spektra member very happy by swapping or selling to them.

I searched my local mall yesterday and there wasn't any VV items on display. I think unless I am blown away by the swatch of Bite of an Apple, it can stay right where it's at.

hmmm...now I'm thinking about Toxic Tale l/s too :/ I do love me some corals and I don't mind satin finish. I just have sooooo many pinky coral shades in my stash. I prob have to bring them all to the store and compare, lol!

- MUFE #37 and #38
- Chanel Teheran RC and Genial RA
- Nars Niagara

Does anyone know if TT is close to any of the above? I know already it's more pink than Vegas Volt (which is a good thing) but how about the others?

not alike at all. Strange Potion is similar to Perennial High Style in color and brightness, but with micro-shimmer while Devilishly Stylish is a warm peach nude with the emphasis on nude (also with micro-shimmer but more like Spree's shimmer)
