I have Fresh Salmon l/s and it's nothing like TT. For one, it's more of a pinkish-grapefruit color and is very sheer (it's a lustre finish). TT is a much brighter and pigmented coral color. It came off almost neon-looking on me (I'm NC 40/42 in Studio Fix and NC45 in PLW foundation). I'm not sure how it compares to Vegas Volt though...

But I think it would look good on you! Really, I think anyone can make TT work. It's just a matter of how you like your lips!

Hey guys, I unpacked our VV collection the other day at the counter! Can't wait for it to come out!

I've seen some debate over Toxic Tale and dupes and I have to say..I think it's the exact same color as Coral Polyp from Dame Edna.
That being said...it's way more orange coral that vegas volt.

Really? TT looks considerably brighter on the fair skinned arm than the darker arm on karla's site.

It's amazing how colors vary so much skintone from skintone.

It's more pink than VV? I thought it was more orange? I don't really see pink in it. To me, I think it's closest to #37 by mufe. I think Niagara, while pretty, is too weak. Not nearly as bright, of course. Fresh Salmon on me comes off kinda metallic or with a sheen. TT seems to be a flat, matte cream. Come to think of it, Genial may be a good comparison.

Yes, mangoes are more of a peachy-orange color inside.

It's weird because a color like Vegas Volt I bought because I saw it on Temptalia. It was bright on her but way brighter on me. Logic would say that a bright lipstick would seem brighter on lightly pigmented lips, but somehow the color popped more on my dark lips. Perhaps undertones play in there as well. Also, the...backdrop

. A darker face makes a bright color seem more electric. An arm swatch, while helpful isn't always the best.

Does anyone know if Her Alter Image is close to Devil-May-Care from the last holiday collection? I know the textures are different, but judging by the swatches the color seems similar... Maybe HAI is a little bit lighter.

So, I decided to swatch Violetta beside Mufe's #15 lipstick. Violetta is definitely more fuchsia/red while #15 is more of a true purple, but not blue like Go For It.

I will get another Violetta because A: it's Maleficent! and B: The one I have looks like it's about to break. You know when you push it up some more, there's a deep ring around it like it'll fall off at any moment

. They are different enough to have both and I won't have to worry about the Pro store being out of stock if this Violetta breaks.

I'm about to post the comparison swatches in the swatch thread for those interested.

Violeta and Toxic Tale look sooooo beautiful, but they scare me (hello, NW15 here

). Besides, I can't really use bright colors while I'm working. Have to wait to see they in person, but I'm so anxious about this collection
