I was worried about the two items I really have my heart set on being sold out so I called today and reserved Bite of an Apple blush and Heartless l/s. My MAC counter isn't having an event but I have a make-over booked for 3PM the day of the release so that should be fun anyway.

I think I want one of the MES but I can't decide which one... I have dark brown hair, blue eyes, NW20, which one would be most flattering on me? I'm trying not to spend too much on this so I'm only letting myself get one of them.

Anybody doing any Disney villain inspired makeup for the event?

I don't think I will...maybe a darker eye than normal or just my everyday look

But it'd be fun!

I was thinking the same thing! It'll be cool to do a dark eye and a bold lip like the face charts for the collection... I wish I could go! I wish I lived in the States better yet lol

That sounds like a good idea. I was thinking of a stronger eye, though. I was thinking Violet Trance since I haven't done that one in a while. I'll have to play around before I go to bed.

Me too! That's another thing I'm overthinking. Ha. But when I just go for it with my makeup it looks good, but if I think about and try to plan it, I never end up liking it

Darkly My Dear doesn't read dirty. I'm NC15 and it swatched like a pale plum taupe on me - it's the same formula as BOA, so it's very fine and easy to apply lightly and sheerly if you want.

Personally I think it's gorgeous, but I have to cut corners off my purchases somewhere and am thinking there will be at least a few more colors very similar to this one coming out next year, since warm and contoured cheeks were all over the spring/summer runways.
