Wow, Lady, you look smoooooooking! I had talked myself out of BOaA and TT (which were the only 2 thing I originally wanted) but after seeing your picture they are right back up at the top of my list. I am NW20 too and if they look anything like that on me I will be one happy lady!

I'm trying to decide if I really want OSF, since I have a couple of pinkish highlighters that probably do the same thing. And I keep wondering about HOD. In my dreams, it's a close cousin of my beloved Strada.

So two definites, two maybes... How many I end up with depends largely on how wealthy I feel when I get there.

Small gripe...but part of me wishes that the beauty powder images were printed upside down so when you opened the compact, then the image would be right-side up. Yes, I know you don't see it when it's open, but OTHER people see it when it's open!

I'm almost-porcelain with warm undertones, and I'm getting BoA for that winter flush look. I'm still trying to decide between BR and OSF. OSF will look very natural on porcelain. BR will look nice too if you have cool-toned skin.

Honestly ladies...y'all need to just try this stuff on and decide for yourselves.

Okay. I got my excitement back. tee hee!
I went to get a bottle of perfume, and stopped at this super tiny MAC counter and it turns out they are having a Level A event for VV, so I made an appointment for my day off to act a fool. heee!

I felt BR might be too bright for me and I was satisified with Azalea Blossom, which looks GREAT imo - pink with just a bit of a cool touch. I have yet to actually wear OSF though

My reply: HOD doesn't look like Strada. It looks like a frost version of Tenderling.

HOD does not look like Strada. It looks like a frosty version of Tenderling.

I'm going to buy another Resort Life and Strange Potion when this collection is released. I love them too much. I was thinking Heartless as well, but I have a lot of reds and there's a lot of love I must spread around. I love Toxic Tale, but I won't wear it so much that I need a backup. I can just see myself wearing RL and SP all through this season, though. Resort Life will be awesome during the holidays with all that awesome shimmer. Combos are endless.

Ok just got off with MAC chat apparently a limited number of PRO only items are available on the regular site for a limited time including violetta and lip erase glitters chromo pencils and liners etc that's why I saw violetta in the regular non le part.

FF Palace Pedigreed- Pinks, Berry-shades, slate blue, greys, silver
SCF 1 Pink- All shades of pink, light watery pinks, bright fuchsia-pinks, violet purples
Evil Queen- Bright purple lips, violet/ lavender eyes

I also think that plum tones would go really well with this. HTH

Just called and made my changes- my counter probably thinks I am the most annoying customer with how many times I've called. That was the last change though- swear. I can't help it- I'm giddy.

The 30th cannot come soon enough!!!!!

So I had so much fun last night! Nothing had sold out so I was worrying for nothing!

Anyways, I ended up getting:
Bad Fairy n/l
Strange Potion- So gorgeous! On me it's a light pinky-peach nude.
She Who Dares- this was a maybe and when I swatched it dry, the green was so pigmented and pretty I just had to have it. Can't wait to try it wet!
Oh SO Fair- This is gorgeous too! It gives me the perfect natural pink flushed look... exactly what I've been looking for. I'm about an NW10 for reference
Bite of an Apple- Super bright and pigmented. Leans red on me. I'll have to be careful with it. Lol. The MA was raving about it though.
Heartless- My first red lippie! I had to have it since I've been wanting to rock the pin up look

Truth & Light- I love how it feels and goes on...but I need to play with it because it some places it gave me dry patches... But I really want to love it and perfect it!


I wanted to like Vainglorious but it just was not that pigmented on me

Not that great of color payoff.

Briar Rose was very pretty and leaned a cool pinky-purple. I might pick it up later even though I'm not a fan of cool toned blushes. Haha.

Her Own Devices- I didn't get this but I might get it when it launches. It was so pretty and I think it would make a great nude-ish blush.

I wish I had taken pictures but my camera was dead

EDIT: I just tried BoaA on my cheeks (with a 168 mind you) and it is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! I had my doubts but this is unlike anything else I have and sooooo pretty. I'm in love

Not very happy right now. Got home last night and realized that 1 of the beauty powder boxes was torn. I called the MAC store and the person that answered the phone said that she personally checked every box before she filled the orders and I would need to talk to a manager on the 30th to see if I can exchange it. Her attitude is was pissed me off. First of all, I find it hard to believe that in the midst of all the chaos she was able to inspect every single box. Secondly, the item was sold to me damaged and it should not be an issue to get it exchanged for a new one. My fault for not checking before I left but by the time I got home last night...the mall was closed.

I keep all of my MAC boxes especially the ones that are special edition. Otherwise I wouldn't care if it was damaged. I really hope this won't be a problem when I go to exchange it on the 30th.

Sorry to hear that. It shouldn't be a problem at all, though if you still have the receipt.
